Seriously, what the hell is going on, Rahul?
I've backed you and your colleagues from day 1, as I believed and mainly still do, that no one could do any worse than your predecessors.
So much apparent house keeping been and being done, with the shareholders picking up the tab, yet we hear nothing from the BOD, other than the regulatory basics and I suspect most PI's are running out of patience.
Why has the share price been nothing but negative since the Capricorn merger plan, which came right out of the blue?
Why has this share price been viewed by most as manipulated to the hilt for the last 2+ years, where there appears no proper correlation with Brent, currently at $111? Anyone on here a year ago suggesting we'd be at 44p on current POO price would've been told to have a lie down!
Let's see you and the board show a bit of support. Buy some more shares, do an interview, write an article. Just come out with it and tell us wtf you really think, as I, along with many shareholders here am currently down a fortune in share value and time!
Have a nice weekend!
He must have read my post yesterday! :)
Always the LT shareholders that seem to get nothing out of this, other than picking up the tab for more hurdles and expenses!
We all know the circumstances behind the high POO are horrendous, but who would've thought we'd still be hanging in the 50's on $126 (part hedging or not!)? To think I had my 4th chance in 2 years yesterday to profit from my 58.5 break even, but just couldn't press the sell button. Perhaps greed, frustration or stupidity, but was so confident with the supposed level of housekeeping done, that this would really motor. Instead, we're once again at the top of the losers board!
It's high time the BOD put their faith in the biz and started buying more shares!
Fed up talking and hearing of manipulation, but in all my years of investing in oil/gas, there is nothing that comes close in terms of zero correlation to anything other that Brent dropping, than TLW!
Same, jetcrowts. I briefly broke even, 20 minutes ago! No doubt there will be a few fall backs as this is TLW after all, but we're defo gaining strength.
Like many of us here, I've lost a lot of time and taken a shedload of stress with this (especially when it hit 7p), but I ain't going anywhere until this is over £1!
Keep the faith, folks!
Granted, us forever suffering LTH's are in the waiting room for positive news as always, but Brent is now at its highest level since 2014, yet hedging considered, this will not budge from the low 50's.
Worst manipulated share I've ever had and wondering if I'll ever cross my break even of 60p, which I'm well aware is good compared to many!
TLW's recent record of keeping PI's informed is poor, and can only hope the update has a list of good news.
I've backed Rahul and his team since he arrived (and believe it's in a stronger place now) and soooo hope those that think this will gain upwards momentum are right, but watching paint dry is a comparable to monitoring this 'investment'!
I sincerely hope you're right Jubileey. We're long overdue a pleasant wind of change!!
Same old rogues that have control of the price, no doubt. An utter shambles of an investment for LTH's, battling manipulaters that just will not FO!
I thought TLW was making decent cash to pay the debt down when over $50 Brent and steady production. We could only dream of POO at this level a few months back, yet here we are, anchored well into the 70s and all we get is a worsening SP.
Will it really matter a jot if there's a positive trading statement?? They'd still find a way to give it a kicking!
NSS -I do remember re RRL, and glad I wasn't involved. All tarred with the same brush, no doubt!
NMC by a country mile!
It wasn't just the money I lost that bothered me, it was the reasons behind it. Massive corruption by board members on what must have been one of the most spectacular downfalls of a FTSE 100 company in such a short space of time, and only 15 months ago. It received vitually no press due to all the Covid headlines.
If I hear that those crooked individuals get strung up for this, then it will at least be some compensation! I still hope E&Y get reprimanded on this as well, if negligence comes out, considering it was on their audit watch!
It was all a shining example of just how poorly regulated the UK is with LSE listed companies with a foreign operation!
I agree miles/Brighty. I still think he's one of the best assets TLW has, but this share is just not for the impatient, and perhaps that's why I've struggled badly with it in the last year.
But hey, I'm still here and with the world slowly on the mend, there's much to look forward to.
As for the shorters, time to finally p*ss off and annoy PI's elsewhere!!
I'm not sure we've heard the end of it with this drill.
Similar happened with JOG a few years back with a duster and plug, I panic sold at the time and lost about £12k. 10 days later they announced they'd tweaked the route to the side and hey presto, hydrocarbons galore! All too late for me of course, but I learned a few lessons on jumping the gun!
My understanding all the same was this would've been a bonus, hence the price this morning.
No guarantees with anything in the drilling game, but one thing's for sure, I aint telling the missus I bought a tranch more yesterday!
First time in profit this morning in 14 months with this. What a marathon!
I won't be selling a dime of this until we're over £1. :)

It's worth taking a pause and reflecting on the 3-month graph and that overcooked drop on the delay announcement. What a recovery!
Getting back into the 250 club is a big deal, and again it reflects the improving financial health of the company and some quality work being done by the new regime.
As long as Brent behaves overnight and there's no unpleasant surprises in the results/update, then surely we should have a decent pick-up tomorrow.
Good luck everyone. Shorters - see ya!!
Keep the faith Sipi - I'm actually thinking of buying more!
OMG I'm 7p from break even! That said, I aint selling out, as I believe we've just started the recovery. $69 Brent - luvin it!!
Well done to those who had the faith and loaded up big time when this was 8p 12 months back - jealous!
Shorters - it's revenge time and I hope it's painful for you!
Anton
I too had the TCG t-shirt and I hope you weren't involved in probably one of the worst FT100 frauds of all time with NMC, for which I'm still in pain!
I've had so many 'throw the towel in' moments with TLW, but I aint going anywhere now!
Good luck all!
I'd like to salute Rahul and his colleagues for their professional approach over the last few months. It's nice to know we're in safe hands at last with this, though we still need a level of patience!
It's been a good week for TLW holders and I'm convinced now that this will race on with some major hurdles removed and oil strengthening with fewer uncertainties.
I just don't get the shorters' game on this and they deserve to finally get fried for not helping the situation for me and many others on here.
Good luck all LTH's and good weekend!
That's the one regret I have, not piling in at 8p!
JMAX - Possibly and I hope so, but it does depend on certain other things happening, that will affect personal cash flow.
As a relatively LTH like many on here, just punch drunk with the whole show, over and above one of the shi****st years of all time for pretty much all of us!
Cheers Gusto - I'm confident too!
