Thanks MH01 and Redirons, reading this is comforting. I think Shaun's one hell of a chess player, and I think he's quite a few moves ahead of the game. I think he will have put enough financing together for this scenario and I expect conversations with a potential partner were had long before Newmont acquired Newcrest.
Just my view, peeps. DYOR

Yep, no problem, Doublehun. I once sold on an 'end-of-mining season' 8 bagger in a Canadian lithium share - luverly. But I'm sticking till I get my £4.50 on this one (and my diamonds) (and they think I'm joking, ha ha.)
Have a good evening, all

Doublehun, forgive my befuddled brain today, but wouldn't it be the other way around? An SP at 50% above today's SP would be more attractive to a long term holder who bought in at a tiny SP? Recent buyers have a longer way to go to make a sale with any decent level of profit, surely? And I would hope that whoever has bought GGP shares (long or new holder) has a modicum of intelligence and will recognise that with mining taking place imminently (in the scheme of things) now is the time to Stick, as they say in cards.
The gold is in the ground and it's nearly coming out.
Best wishes to all,

Flareboom, I can appreciate you might want to buy more at a low price but I have to disagree. A lot of people bought in at circa 16p or even 37p and while I'm not expecting the SP to go back to 37p just yet, (or shoot back up there and stay there for any length of time), the SP should by now be upper teens/early twenties.
Hi Tig, Happy New Year. I agree with you. These years, 2024 and 2025, are the years we should be starting to see great RNSs and great, consistent SP rises, month on month.

"Even the most optimistic on this board will be somewhat disheartened seeing this dip below 9 again." Speak for yourself, Chuffchuff. Ha ha. I'm optimistic and I'm not disheartened by pre-Santa share shenanigans (try saying that merry). I'm made of sterner stuff. Just remember, '"Wear the gold, be the gold, you are the gold!"
MRE Friday before Xmas. LOL.
Merry Xmas everybody.
See you next year,

Philbrim, You said, 'Never mind what's in the ground'. It's entirely about what's in the ground and about long-term economic viability to mine it based on tonnage/quality.
You said, 'It's all about trust'. Nobody should ever buy a share based on trust. It's all about research and knowledge.

Hi Sandgrounded, As the SP falls on any good news, that might be a good idea, as I'm expecting a great MRE. We don't have many days left in December with trading days afterwards, so with that logic it could be imminent. Any day's good for me.
Cheers,

Sorry Mr EMC2, I can't find it. My addled brain says they were going to sell some other tenements to buy & develop another prospect. He probably meant buying more south-west tenements. Didn't he say something like, 'if not another Havieron, then a half Havieron would be brilliant'?
Sorry, brain fog.
All the best,
