Interesting GH mentions additional plans (at 0.55) that haven't been announced to the market at this point ...... do they have another acquisition that they are working on or further extended drilling programme on an existing project? Time will tell!

I can't help but think that as we get nearer to news then the MM's will play their games more and more. I suspect that day traders will be impacted more than LTH's who I doubt will have stop losses in place but maybe that is just my strategy.

tpinvest - if this is a serious question I would suggest you look at:
1. Invesco and it's AUM globaly and profit record
2. Look at the balance sheet of HVO and understand the impact of the recent losses (and it's ability to withstand these) / the cost cutting / where money is being spent and consider whether it is normal or not for a drug development company to be loss making at this stage of the protracted drug development life cycle.
All looks extremely good from my point of view but if you are concerned at the risk reward profile in terms of your own risk appetite then of course then you have options.

I tried to calculate value per million oz back in June - at that time my calculation was based on 10% (a rough guide) of the cost of an oz but this might be low given our grades:
(1m x $127) / 3Billion (shares in issue at that time), covered into sterling at a rate of £1 to $1.32
Rounded down I made it 3p a share per million oz.
Anyone got any other thoughts?

Lovely part of the world you live in - you are close to some of my favourite motor biking roads (north of Huelgoat) - I come over a couple of times a year with some pals - often stay at the IBIS in Roscoff.
Again - we are of like minds with the direction HVO are going - this needs a heavy weight behind it to hopefully realise it's potential for mankind let alone us investors!

....is not potential - we have that in abundance - it is not the cash - we just topped up an already healthy bank account! - what we are lacking are major II's taking positions (yes I know about Starvest at 2.8% but i am talking 15/20% stakes) and that is because they are waiting for the resources to be proved (which of course is at the crux of what we need and are waiting for). Once that happens and the major II's arrive then the SP will stop moving to the vagrancies of PI day traders and their constant shifting of funds to try and catch the next big wave elsewhere and the SP will consolidate at a higher base level prior to negotiations and the next leg (leap?) up, imo.
In light of that i was delighted with the RNS yesterday from the company and the news that it was accelerating the drilling programme at Havieron and BH - it was exactly the right strategic move.

Impatience seems to permeate every aspect of society these days and a cause of many woes - both monetary for those that have to have it all now and borrow to achieve it, through to psychological issues for those that feel they are not achieving unless they are constantly getting recognition in some shape or form - from promotions to dare i say it, maybe getting a rise from fellow posters on this board!
Well done on getting a low entry point leas - i was late to the party and currently sitting on a paper loss but feel entirely comfortable with my decision to invest here. I am fortunate in that CGT is not an issue for me but if i was in the UK I would certainly want this in an ISA if possible - but a gain is a gain and paying CGT is a nice problem to have for anyone investing if you need the cash. The other option of course would be to phase your sells if that was your strategy and utilise your allowance each year but I don't need to tell you that.

Silverlight - fully agree and god forbid the company find another project with the potential of BH at a bargain and they have to raise cash to buy because it wasn't on their radar 3 months ago .....some on this board would be up in arms at such outlandish behaviour!

Agreed leas - having 2 II's with over 50% of the holdings is a massive vote of confidence from teams that know what they are doing. There are no guarantees in life or investing but this tells me that the risk reward landscape here is extremely encouraging. I think it is going to be fascinating when (ok - if - for balance) news is released about discussions with a major pharm - will it be it's a done deal or will it start a bidding war? The impact on the SP could well be substantial and each investor will have to make the decision on whether to hold for larger gains or pick their exit price - much i guess will depend on whether there is a royalty clause in any deal as this has huge potential to become a cash cow in the future. The beauty of HVO is not only does it have the potential to make investors series gains but far more importantly, the vaccine has the potential to save tens of thousands of lives in the future if it delivers what we hope it can - so shareholders can feel good on multiple levels whilst making money!

There has been much debate about GH and the 'fully funded' statement - I have made my view clear is that they were and would continue to be fully funded if they had chosen to keep on the same exploration plan - but what decent company doesn't react to a change in circumstances and look to capitalise on new information - that is just good business. Ask yourself this question - if the company found another excellent prospect like BH and wanted to buy it and needed to raise funds, what would your view be? If you don't like the business model of a decent exploration company such as this, then you are invested in the wrong type of stock - you need something that is a regular staid dividend provider probably in the FTSE 250 and not an AIM stock. Personally I am here because I like the excitement and love the potential.

Silverlight - that was a spike up and the serious money would have known that and would never have entered into an agreement at that price - you don't get to have that size of fund available without knowing how this market works - thinking we could have got a 2p placing is in my view naive.

My initial thoughts with the RNS are that this is a positive - why: I think that Havieron and BH initial findings have exceeded CB & GH's expectations - they were then faced with 2 options - one to continue with the previously agreed exploration plan and in which case they remain fully funded as stated or two, re-evaluate and escalate the drilling programme to prove up the potential. The latter option would take funds. If they said up front that they were considering the second option, then the market would have a strong indication of a placing and the price would fall and the price of the placing would be adversely impacted. What we have here is a 10% temporary adjustment with amazing potential upside in terms of timescales for proving up the project - in time todays retrace will be a distant memory if what we believe is there is proved up. Just look at the non transferable warrant options and the prices built in - this share is going places and all investors need to do it wait. The only losers here are the day traders in my view. I am hoping some other investments come good shortly as I intend to top up here at this price when I have funds.

Never had lunch at The Royal Yacht (Friday beers outside on a sunny evening though many times!) - prefer a steak across the road at Wildfire - as for the Priory - it is fine in winter when the fire is on in the main bar/dining room but too often my experience has been kids parties in the playzone and you can't hear yourself think...anyway all a little of subject - I was still impressed by the presentation and the BoD and from what I hear about them as individuals - we are a small island as you know and everyone knows everyone!

JOG are playing with boys in the big league - if you think that it was their decision to delay the drill you might want to question why? I very much doubt that they had much of a say in the delay. I went to an investment presentation the company gave at The Royal Yacht graybird a few months ago (Macy gave a talk as well) - I have every confidence in the BOD personally.

Quazar - I am invested and believe in the potential of this company and also believe that the directors are being frugal with their own remuneration as they plough the company's money into exploration - but where did you get your numbers from to make that assertion please? I repeat - I am a fan but I like to check the numbers of any claim.
