Yes the additional testing was mentioned in January 2023 and was supposed to last 6-8 weeks. Then the August RNS said results by autumn 2023, but nothing mentioned since then. I guess it's more important to keep Amitsoq moving along, so I'm happy to leave other projects on the back burner for now.
did we ever get the results back from the additional testing of the 2022 tbs drill results?
from the august 2023 interim results -
"test work to determine the ilmenite content of the co****r grain fraction within drill core samples from thule black sands ("tbs"), greenroc's ilmenite mineral sands project in north greenland, is near completion and is expected to be reported this autumn."
Thanks. Destination = Wellintodoublefiguresville :-)
Yes developing a mineral resource is usually a snails pace undertaking. At least we have normally glacial bureaucracy on our side helping instead of hindering. All being well I'd hope the s/p to rerate incrementally as each stage of development is reached. IMO what should be obvious is that we are currently undervalued at these present levels.
A reminder of 9th October 2023 RNS -
"GreenRoc Awarded Grant from UK Automotive Transformation Fund
GreenRoc Mining plc (AIM: GROC), a company focused on the development of critical mineral projects in Greenland, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a grant of approximately £250,000 by the Automotive Transformation Fund ("ATF") in the UK under its recently closed Feasibility Study Competition. The grant will part-finance a feasibility study into the establishment of a graphite spheronisation processing plant in the UK to produce active anode material from graphite concentrate delivered from GreenRoc's Amitsoq Graphite Project in southern Greenland ("Amitsoq" or the "Project")"
Support from many sides to get this graphite into vehicles ASAP.
Mine was the 160k at 1.75p at 13:25. I hope it was great timing.
This has flown under the radar up till now. Mcap of only around £3m with potential assets into the £billions, and the US and Europe gagging to secure non-Chinese strategic mineral supplies. A no brainer...
A quick scan through the Bluejay BB suggests they may not be very cash rich, but don't quote me on that.
It seems that Bluejay want to reverse their decision to shelve the Dundas project as the last drill campaign wasn't conducted properly and threw up erroneous results. This ought to add a little value back to Greenroc's ilmenite asset and also allows us to learn somewhat from Bluejay's drilling campaign mistakes.
A nice show of support and interest from the US though I had expected the Europeans to be at the front of the queue. No matter, let the early bird catch the worm. ;-)
Maybe it's the same person that lost that 10 shilling note I found as a 4 y.o. kid at the Kop end of Liverpool football stadium in 1961?
And currently over £1900/oz. I still have a few coins I bought for £340 in 2007 :-)
I didn't expect to still be sub 2p after the big seller was taken out and two directors have dipped in and bought more.......but our time will come when we should be looking at single figures in the rear view mirror.
Good point about Nick buying more at around about the ISA limit when he has fingers in other pies but instead chose ARCM. I wonder what negative spin Donkey and the Wailers can possibly fabricate on the matter?
Very reassuring. I guess he's in a better position to predict what's coming than braying Donkey and the Wailers?
The obstacle to drilling in rainy season appears to be traveling to and from the sites as the roads are mudbaths. From the photos I've seen of remote drilling sites the equipment doesn't seem too big, apart from the transport to get things onsite. I wondered why a company as big as AA couldn't have a helicopter on hand to move equipment around, bypass the quagmires and continue to drill despite the weather? After all "Time is money"
It ought to head back towards 3p much quicker than it dropped, IMO. Just in time for a little drilling restart boost as the icing on the cake. :-)
Let's see how many people are still interested in what they have to say...
I'm just interested to know how many people still read their offerings...
Actually, my original maths was wrong. I see that I've added 30% not 25% (for any maths pedants out there)
