Apparently, the Oculus Go AKA Xiaomi Mi VR Standalone Virtual Reality sold out in the first day, and there is a huge waiting list for the set.

Facebook wants 1 billion Vr users. ONE BILLION watching Adele live from all over the world @ £10 for a VR ticket. Ahhh we can only dream...

Am - said he wasn't bothered about the SP. I suppose if we all knew what he does we would all be saying the same. 4 more platforms, Asia, the list goes on. And, Adele is supposed to be a big investor with over 27.9 million followers.

Correct the prediction was made in 2014 and look where we are at now. Santa Cruz will out in a few months and the HTC Vive Pro is out now. Not a bad prediction IMHO

Apple is currently developing a VR/AR headset that utilizes both technologies and is powered by its proprietary chips, with a 2020 release window. The so-called “dream” headset will provide an 8K display in each eye and cameras that can detect your surroundings via a high-speed wireless box called the 60GHz WiGig.
The company boasts that the headset will provide technology that doesn’t exist on the market while the proprietary chips would utilize the 10-nanometer construction in the iPhone X‘s A11 Bionic processor. The project is speculated to be codenamed T288, and with its wireless headset and dedicated Wi-Fi tech, it could solve the VR market’s current issues with cumbersome product designs. EVRH only launched MVR on the 2nd of May. The App hasn't been launched on all platforms and has not gone global and people are whining about the SP. The SP only matters if you are going to sell. Those of us here for the long haul will reap the rewards in a few years. MVR is only getting started, and music isn't the last stop. GLA
