Good point, Luke Johnson is on both boards plus Zinc were housing & supporting Chrysalis, they didn't just give up their stake - is that business. Luke Johnson & Johnnie Goodwin are dealmakers, it sure is going to be interesting to learn the outcome.

B16, What if Zinc converted the Options & became a major shareholder in Chrysalis before signing the contract with SKY , doesn't that sound like a positive, after all Zinc Media are a business & putting money into a Start Up, letting the Start Up use your facilities for over a year & supporting them is worth a premium & SKY wanted that Team. Its all positive. Chrysalis is a valuable brand.

The loan notes had OPTIONS to convert at £1 a share + Ten Alps(Zinc Media) had OPTIONS to make further investments up 750000 new shares which would achieve a MAJORITY shareholding . (THEY HAD THE STAKE WITHOUT LAYING OUT THE MONEY !!) All that has great value & will make a big impact on current years income ! Having the right to acquire more of CV doesn't matter, the deals been done & Zinc will have done well out of it. Zinc had said they would be in profit this year - & that profit will have just gone up when the SKY money comes in. ZINC was a major factor in Chrysalis vision being where they are now - it was a "Start up" that is now in production & SKY will have seen what potential CV had. Zinc production companies will also have gained a lot of knowledge from CV & how they do DRAMA - It wont be long before Zinc have its own DRAMA production wing. Who knows maybe Chris Wright will join the board of Zinc. These guys Luke Johnson (expert businessman) & Johnny Goodwin ( major deal maker look up LEPE PARTNERS & what they do) are genius, plus have a lot of connections & excellent track records, They are acting in Zincs best interest. SKY are shopping at the moment , sterling is good value against the dollar, plus SKY wanted a DRAMA production company & CHRYSALIS is a Valuable Brand. I feel this is all positive, Hope this helps.

Chris Wright & Chrysalis are like Richard Branson & Virgin, The Chrysalis brand is respected & Chris has been behind some very successful companies, (He sold Chrysalis Records to EMI for $110million) Chrysalis Television which developed Midsomer Murders was sold for £50million & became part of All3Media. Chrysalis Vision was set up by the former management team behind Chrysalis Television in 2014, the team included – Chris Wright Chairman, Mick Pilsworth CEO, Roger Parry & Luke Johnson (of Zinc Media.) In July 2015 Ten Alps (Zinc Media) invested £50k for a 12% stake at £1 a share & then provided £200k of convertible loan notes over next 20 months. Ten Alps (Zinc Media) HOUSED & SUPPORTED the Chrysalis team !! The loan notes had option to convert at £1 a share + Ten Alps(Zinc Media) had OPTIONS to make further investments up 750000 new shares which would achieve a majority shareholding !! Chrysalis Vision then raised funding via Crowdcube & the target was £200k for 26.67%, they actually got £329k from 196 investors for 37.43% of equity by the expiry date of 19th December 2015 So Chrysalis Vision have been using Ten Alps (Zinc Medias)facilities to get started & now have a stack of production in development , by a proven team . SKY knock on the door looking for a Drama Production company, How much have they paid Zinc ?? (remember Zinc do have options to buy the majority + Sky want a successful Drama production company + Chris Wright & CHRYSALIS are well respected. This deal has got to be mega for Zinc, for little outlay they should get a big reward & that’s going to really make the current years Accounts look pretty good. (Luke Johnson is on the board of both Zinc & Chrysalis & I am sure that he see’s this deal great for both companies + Zinc need to make the major investors happy. The board of Zinc are going to do it this year, They have been working hard since the big shake up when Luke Johnson & Johnny Goodwin joined. They & some major investors bought in at 2p a share in 2015 & have been very patient, (it’s a great opportunity for the small private investor to be able to buy shares at a lower price than the big guys at the moment). I hope this is of interest . .

Probably more likely that TAL offloads its publishing & communication departments if any thing, Can't imagine TALs investors giving up on TAL after the busy year & after what they invested last year. The board have been putting some order into a company that makes sense & that probably included changing the CFO Nitil Patel who had been at TAL a long time !!!

the upcoming results may look good now all the loss making divisions have been taken out, if all other tv & digital departments are making profits

The plans the BBC have look interesting, there's quite a list & Include - Reduction in entertainment programmes More funding for factual programming ( will Ten Alps benefit ! ) Is something similar going on at Channel 4 - its all very intersting !

Thanks for your feelings, I am sorry your investment is showing a loss & i understand why you feel this way, i have also experienced investments that perform in this way, but also have benefited with others. I guess i am looking at Ten Alps differently to anyone whose investment has lost value & what i find interesting is that "Wood says Ten Alps are now operating profitably for first time in 6 years. The focus was now on growing digital revenues & launching new events in business markets" so the revenues wiil also have grown with the aquisation of Reef . It is a bit missleading to watch the current share price get shown on graphs as an increase when in actual fact the shares were subdivided ( ten old shares were converted to one new share)- so the current share price is not far off its low & there has been no rise in value (yet) so the followers of the charts will be getting missleading information & making decisions on misleading information ! I calculated the amount of shares held by major investors & the board which i worked out to be about 90% (373 million shares) out of a total of 419 million shares - leaving only 10% in the hands of small investors - (hopefully my maths is correct) The company hope to break into the lucrative world of TV streaming services such as Netflix & Amazon. Having looked at the type of work Reef produce it would be interesting as a shareholder to get involved & come up with ideas for productions - if you are a shareholder doesnt that excite you that maybe your idea is taken seriously - "put your money where your mouth is" does pretty well ! So maybe there is good news for the small share holders whose investments have lost a lot of value, but in actual fact if you are still a shareholder, then your investment may start to make you feel happy ! its quite incredible to watch very very small numbers of shares being traded but having a big impact on the share price . What would the be odds for a name change ? So Silvernight i hope you have held onto your investment as you say its a gamble & if your allready in, is it a bigger gamble to get out at these prices ?? Its all gone a bit quiet here ! Have been watching Ten Alps for a while & I thought that it all looked exciting & that there would be lots of chatter about the latest developments for Ten Alps, the deal with Reef television & now the latest deal with Chrysalis , Plus all the new board members & investors, something positive is happening surely ! Im thinking of putting some in my ISA - Does that sound like a good idea ??
