As your article says and points out this looks like the case back on Feb 7th almost 3 months ago ,and so the bod's set up the review and put the airline business up for sale. If and when that is sold it will change the whole situation.
I wonder if we will here more on Monday about what else is going on.

Everyone can see the concerns if you were invested in flyb and the shareholders were shafted but you cannot look at tcg in the same way, totally different companies, but hey anything can happen.

It's simple, we all know that many company's sp is never based on what a company is werth it's based on what dealers think they can make or lose on it over a period of time.
We see it so often now that once a company gets a bit of bad news the shorters go all out to kill it off just to make money.
TCG is investing in the futre and changing it's path and business model, so when that's done in say 6 months time the company and sp will be seen in a different light and with better prospects. These things never change over night and so it depends on how long one wants to wait for that return.Everyone knows this is under valued that's why there are companies looking to buy it cheap now otherwise they would all walk away. let's see what happens over the next few months.

If someone has sold a big quantity then someone has bought them and we could get another RNS soon, we all know this is under valued at the moment and that's why there has been a number of companies looking to buy all or parts of TCG. This sp could be up to £1 in 6 months time so now is a great time to talk about take overs.

A very interesting point of view, the number of shares is NOT important.
A few years ago vog had about 4 billion shares and then they consolidated x 40 , then they issued more shares and ended up with approx 100m shares.
Now they have issued another 150m shares making 250m in total , and the business is worth a fraction of what it was 10 years ago to what about £40m now.
So why not let vog issue another 500m shares over the next 2 years and dilute the value even more, actually they might still have to do that if they don't get back the insurance claim and need to drill even more.
I am afriad many will NOT agree with your views.

So far, I would imagine they will wait until the 29th when they have called a Genral Meeting about the lending ratio and I would expect them to up-date the market at the same time. But Hey what do I know.

As it happens TUI announced a net loss of 111m for their first qtr, a few weeks ago

Just thought I would look at TUI 's debt in comparison to TCG.
TUI had turnover of Euro 19.524 bn Gross debt of Euro 2.440 bn
made up of Bonds 297m, Banks 780m Leases 1,363m . leverage Ratio 2.7 x

TCG Turnover £9.5bn total debt £1.5b.
So it's all about funding for the future for TUI and TCG , and once TCG get all the hotels up and running, reduce overheads the profits will start to flood in. Just needs a bit more time.

For Tcg is £1.5b. Which includes all the bonds and bank debt, but once you take away cash in the bank and overdraft payments Etc they only have a net debt of approx £386m and that's nothing with a turnover of some £9b. +

First sell off the airline then sell the whole company to Fosun, and that's why Fosun have been biulding their stake to 17% in readyness for a £1.50 bid.

Want to see any rns yet for at least 2-3 weeks, look we all know TCG are a sitting duck at this price so I would rather buyers biult the sp back up to say 40p before we get any news , or even 75p after they give out news that they have sold off some airline business.
That way we are more likely to see an offer of 80p- £1.50 for the total company. On the other hand if Fosun are interested then you think they would strike now while they have a good chance of getting tcg at a lower price.

Remember they have also taken on 3-4 new planes to increase their capacity and make more profit after shortage of flights etc was shown up last year, so they are expecting to sell more holidays / flights this summer.
Also much or their debt is Bonds and they are ok until 2021/ 2/3 , so it doesn't really matter what they are worth now as long as they are paid back on time.
