I may be that tcg didn't want to go to £400m and said £300m will do nicely because they will not need as much when the sell the airlines. Why always look on the negative.?

You could be right but I don't think it will be 15p when they sell the airline business, if it was going that low it would be there now and it's not in fact it's starting to go back up and by the end of today back to 20p+

Yes I did and there is no reason why not when they sell the airline business, they have arrange funding for the next few years, NO rights issue and they are no worse than tui for the 6 months and they have a plan which will turn this around.

RNS says ,we have received multiple bids, including for the whole, or parts, of the airline business. As we assess these bids, we will consider all options to enhance value to shareholders and intensify our strategic focus.

So if they choose to and the price is agreed at some point they could sell the lot but they might get much more money by selling it in parts. and not as some are saying no one want Europe.
I guess this will take a few weeks but will be good in the end, I cannot now see them not selling so debt will be down a lot.

Look we all know this was going to be tough for a while and we all know that we are looking to the future when the airline business is sold off and the true picture will be clear.
Tcg made a trading loss of what £280m and Tui made a trading loss of £261m so both having problem. Tui also said they lost out on sales to spain where many holiday makers went to turkey but Tcg gained most of that turkey business , so swings and Roundabouts etc.

We all know that this would take a few months to sort out and get the money, but the good news is they look like they have the options to sell what they want but at what price.

Not so good then but I guess it's more in line with Tui for 6 months with a loss of a few hundred mil without extras mainly through impairments rather than real cash.
But yes NO need to raise cash for a few years and some agreement on airline sales soon with luch which will reduce the debt level.

Unless they all came from the placing we the info has been held back. which means the whole placing was a set-up from start to finish. So when will the full takeover at 15p take place.?

The rns says this happened on 5th April but looking at the volumes for the whole of that week it looks like there was only about 2m shares traded, infact there has been very small volumes of stock bought or sold but the difference between 7.37% and 20.9% works out at about 34m shares bought.
So where did they come from? who sold them.?

So will they be better than Tui,
H1 turnover up 1.7%, but total group loss was eu 341m.
Total group debt is eu 3.1bn / net loss eu 1.96bn.
and we are worried about net dbt of 340m ish.
So it looks like it's always a loss in the first half for the sector. but let's hope we have other better news to off-set the bad bits.

eneo count for what about 50% of turnover and income and vog haven't ben paid for it yet.
They raised about £13m in the last share issue and without the eneo money that won't last long, So why Oh why are they still trying to sort out a payment system with eneo when they had a year to do so before they started to re supply them again after the last time of not paying, surely they should have tied that all down and agreed it with eneo before they agreed to re supplying them with gas again.
They have stopped paying Foo his royalties probably because they haven't got the money to do so as they are using that money to keep the company going.
So far No new customers taking gas yet only a signed agreement for 1 new customer in qtr 4 and another next year, something is really wrong here, but I guess it will come to light at some stage.

Now until tomorrow, so we will see if the directors are just in this for the money.
If the bod's think this has a great future after the rns when with luck they will inform us of airline sales , new funding agreements and best laid plans of cutting more costs.
They would / should all be buying big volumes of shares at this price tomorrow, but if they don't then they cannot have much faith. We will see tomorrow. !!!!!

Yes I think we have all done that, it seems that whatever way we move and invest the small indepentant investor comes un stuck.Just look at all time greats like itv just over a pound and cna just under a pound now who thought that would happen. but thereis nothing worse than losing thousands of pounds on some of these stocks when all the big boys still end up making money, and we have all done that.!!!!!

I have always thought that eneo want to take vog to the brink of going under and then buy them for 1p or 2p but every time it gets close to that vog come up with another share issue that saves the day.
I think it's only a question of time because vog would fit in nicely to eneo 's set-up and give them a long term hold on Cameroon.

Do people think this is going bust when the banks seem quite happy to agree more funding for developement and more profit down the road.

of pfd today is in a much better state than they have been for many years, but at this rate it will take another 5-10 years to get rid of all the debt so some drastic action does need to be taken, although there many other companies with high debt levels than pfd.
But if we take off the one off's that turned us into a loss next year should be fine, and with the pension position much better and growth still coming through I would have thought pfd could be a great takeover target for the right company.

But there won't be any debt when they sell off the airline business only profits and more profits in the years to come.
All will be released very soon as many already know. !!!!!!!

Adjusted profit before tax up £88m +12%
Net Debt down £469m +11%
Combined pension surplus £373m
But Loss £42m down 63%
Has all that profit gone to pay down Debt and pensions so then we don’t pay any tax?
But with growing sales reduced debt and surplus pension pfd must look better for a takeover.
