Yes I know all that, I am just asking why they are buying up as much of tcg as they can now a about 7% as of today knowing d4e is about to happen. But maybe they will bid 10p-15p-20p for all of tcg before d4e takes place. They must know what they are doing at this late stage.

It wouldn't surprise me if they came in with a silly bid of say 15p- 20p and tried to buy the lot. Now wouldn't that surprise Fosun and the bod's .

I think it looks clear to many posters on here that as you have already said you do NOT hold cwd or work for them but work in the industry, so it must be that you work for one of cwd competitors and if that's the case you would be negative about cwd wouldn't you.
Don't have any problem with that as long as we all know the reason for your views.

All sounds very positive and looks like they are turning the boat round, but debt has gone up to £90m and all the banks seem ok with that against the plans for year end.
All those extra sales people must be doing some good.

Well it's always good to see the directors buying their own shares, and does show some faith in the company.

It cannot all be about brexit and the £, tui are still up, tcg are up so they don't seem to be having the same concerns about holiday trade at the moment.
And lots of saga's business is insurance and now the new 3 year deals so this should still be going back up.

Well all bad news with almost everything down, apart from debt which is up 17% to £3.3bn.
Can only see the sp going down to 75p- 80p today.

Yes a very strange day today, no reason at all for the drop as far as I know when you think the ftse was well up.

Goodness they seem to be out to cut Long and cwd down don't they, but they also seem to be sitting on the fence saying all the bad things but then there some good things that could be about to happen. Let's be honest they haven't got a clue like the rest of us do they.

Could this be another sign that if cwd bod's make the right changes their business can also move forward in these conditions.

for the better, if Boris J does announce changes to the Stamp Duty like they are talking about in the papers today, ie raising the stamp duty level to £500,000 that should give a big boost the housing market and companies like foxtons and CWD. sp could be about to move up .

The only people spreading lies and misleading information is the tcg bod's and as usual it's the shareholders and workers that are paying the price.

Yes very true, their sales were down a little but their business is/ was much smaller at only about £50m compared to about £300m for cwd.
Going by their last trading statement in Feb they are turning the business around but we all know these bod's of many companies talk ****** and will tell the shareholders whatever they can to keep their jobs. I guess we will see next week.

I am afraid many of us got caught in both these and lost big time, I like many have sold but I just cannot understand why / how the sp is holding up so well when we all felt the sp would be 1p-3p by now.

Well they reported a £70m debt in the FY numbers which was down from about £200m, ok about £100m was from the rights isuess but they have still made good progress in bringing it down.
Let's hope they have made more progress in this half and reduce the debt by another £30m and if they have we should be in line for turning the business around. I have just topped up again so let's hope we see an increase in the sp to 8p- 10p over the next few weeks if the int are good.

Yes I would love to see the tory party and Labour party stop BoJo from getting anywhere and then BoJo call a general election and come back with a large majority of 40 +.

Sorry about that my friend but I have also lost in Debs and here 10's of thousands in total and to be honest Climate change is the last thing on my mind but just helps NOT thinking about tcg for a while.
