So is it back to 45p ish due to profit taking or just a slow drop back?
Must admit I sold some yesterday and made a small profit but will buy more if it falls back to 45p ish.

So we should be getting the half year results next week and in the Aug rns they issued this pre close trading up-date.
AA plc today publishes a trading update for the six-month period ended 31 July 2019. We expect to see Trading EBITDA at the half year to be ahead of last year. As with previous years, we expect performance to be weighted to the second half. Our paid membership base is stabilising, we remain on-track to deliver Trading EBITDA growth this year (FY20) in line with current market expectations and we expect to generate strong free cash flow growth in line with our guidance.
So does this mean that any good increase in sales / profit has already been built into the sp or could we be looking at a nice rise to 70p+ ?

So can they keep the sp above 1p before they get the extra £200m or go pop.

So it looks like the bod's cannot be more simple, we need more money and the chances are there will be NO return for the shareholders.
They are confirming that TCG is a dead duck and about time too.
After taking no action for about 2 years to raise money when they could have and just stick their heads in the sand hoping it will all turn out OK has just not worked. These current BOD's should all be struck off for good. So end game within days now.

Goodness still plenty of buys when the end is near, do these guys know more than the rest of us.

Well a not bad set of results, ok we all know that revenue and profit was going to be down due to the old cruise ship being taken out of service before the new ship was ready but even the booking are in line so second half should be ok and in line with target etc.

Yes I remember it well. Since then we have had what about 3-4 fund raisers and a consolidation of 40 and my god we are almost back where we started , apart from most shareholders being wipped out and Foo becoming a multy millionair.
This share has Just worked wonders for some.

There must be many investors looking at this share over the last 6 months all thinking I must beuy soon and that include s me, but with all the press etc saying this sp will dive much lower it seems to be able to go higher, what's going on.

You could be right there but at least I didn't buy in here otherwise I would be evn more down.

It's good to see that i was right in NOT investing in vog who are still in the same old very poor position of very little money coming in and NO real progress on making any profit.
I just cannot believe they are still in business, when will they run out of money and when will they issue another fund raiser but this time more like 5p-8p to get it way.

I think one of the main problems here is the amount of debt, in the last result AA had down as total debt of £2,715b and it will be interesting to see if this has come down.

There still a few left in here , don't forget the 25m buys in 1 day this week.

Good god you two take the extreme point of any posts.
I said the 35miles was the normal distance that's expected people to travel to work, NOT the distance for another estate agent to take over the selling.
With so many estae agents around and although many trade under different names for cwd there is no reason why staff couldn't move to another branch within say 5-10 miles, many estate agents still cove 5-10-15 miles from 1 branch. and if you say that don't maybe they should start.

Why should estate agents be any differeant from any other business, they have already proved what they are doing now is not working so maybe they should convert to the working practice .
The national working agreements for redundancies is expected travel up to 35miles from home to work, ok workers do not have to take it and then they can get money instead of a job.
Why can't cwd now start merging some estate agents name within that 35 miles like many others have done or are doing.
I know you say many are leaving and starting up their own business but who is going to put their property on with a one man un proven business, very few.
cwd can work through this by cutting more costs and driving more sales and we will see this in the second half, with luck.

I know a little about sales as I was a salesman for 35 years and know just how it works.

Sain sorry I disagree, people / companies put house / offices up for sale to companies like cwd or their competitors and not to individual people.
That's where you have been going wrong, no individual is bigger than a business set-up and when say estate agents close one branch they will if they can transfer the business to another branch and just increase the area covered by that branch. The rease some / many individuals have left cwd is because they thought they were bigger than cwd and got proved wrong in the end and couldn't live with it.

Come on Gent where have you been for the last 10 -15 years.
In business all round the country companies have been closing offices / branches of business and then they either give staff they want to keep the option of moving to another office / branch rather than being made reduntant. That way the staff that move keep their jobs / perks and salaries as they were infact many might get slight enhancements. The staff that want to leave leave and the business saves on all the overheads. This has been going on all over the country so why shouldn't it also happen with estate agents like cwd. I myself have had the same thing happen in my working life and I believe the law puts a distance of 35 - 40 miles as ok. If cwd have so many branches I guess many of the staff my want this as well.
