For many shares dealers it's about gambling and investing , you keep going on about how bad Cwd is and it's a dead dog going under etc etc just like Spain. You don't know what price I bought in at but for all those buyers who bought in at about 4 p ish this share will turn out to be a big winner all round regardless of what happened 10 years ago., and to be honest many of us couldn't give a toss what has gone on in the past it's about what happens over the next 6 -12 months.

It looks to me like the sp is being held down t this level ready for some sort of bid following the results.
I guess at that stage I will have to take the 65p+ offer on the table.

I don't think sain will ever be positive about CWD , he seems to have some sort of chip on his shulders or dislike about cwd in general, maybe someone close to him has been treated wrong or had some sort of dispute going on.
But everyone to their own.

Well the first 6 months turnover for this year was £290m and looks like it will be approx £600m for the full year , so still a very good / high turnover.
Lets hope the profit now starts to turn for the better.

Well done steve I think you bought in at the right time and will make some good money from now on. I bought and sold and bought again at 60p ish and think there is no reason why this shouldn't go up to about a £1 in the next 6 months, but time will tell.
It's all about timing in life.

That's the point they are bonds / notes so will not be called in until they are due.
First ones due 2020 of £200m only and then spread over the next 4-5 years.
Many big companies have bonds / notes, it's the way companies use other peoples cash.

You might be right but most /all of the debt is in long term Notes spread over 4-5 years and as such cannot / will not be called in in one go.
M.Lynch must look on it different because they have this week been buying more and pushed up their holding to over 6.3%, but I guess that could be short term and we won't know everything until their next results.

As far as I can see it they had in Finals Total Debt of £2,770
But that is made up of
£200m Notes 31 July 2020 4.25%
£700m Notes 31 st Jan 2022 2.88%
£250m Notes 31 st July 2023 2.75%
£550m Notes 31 st July 2024 4.88%
£500m Notes 31st July 2025 6.25%
£570m B Notes 31st July 2022 5.50%
Total ave of 4.52%
And all under control. So there should be NO need to raise more money.
Will be interesting to see what it's like at the end of this year.

Well I think this looks like a good move for cwd, I don’t think anyone with this level of experience and calibre would be coming on board a company like cwd to risk their reputation and CV if they thought cwd was going under.
Maybe we will here some new plans to move forward.

I think some / most of this drop is down to the latest FCA report which came out on Friday, it's hit many / most insurance companies like AA. Direct line etc.

I have been doing this for some 30 years and we always get these sort of phatom share dealers that never have any money of their own and just love trying to up-set others with rude / negative remarks. It's like water off a ducks back.
I do not filter posters i like to read their posts because it makes them feel better for seeing their own posts on boards like these.

Goodness, I post a little bit of positive news about the highest level of new homes in England for years and the pair of you dig the depths to find all the negative parts you can. Doesn't that just show how sad you are.

OK we can all agree that the market has slowed down a bit, but numbers today show that the number of new houses in england has hit a new high of 173,670.
So if the prices of current houses drop a little that should be made up with the sales of all these new houses, after all someone must be buying them and that needs estate agents at some stage.
Not saying this will help cwd that much but it should help the total market and that should also include cwd.

The guy on BBC today was saying this new report seems more about house insurance than motor so maybe the drop on AA. has been over done.
