Are they closing a final sarary pension for a units one or what? because many other companies have already done that and if there are it will save the company lots of money over time and just fall in line with others. Do you know this because you work at AA. ?

Great set of numbers and growth all round and for once i wasn't let down, does look like they have turned the corner but when will the market see this and start moving the sp where it belongs 65p -85p.
Could well see a takeover move at some point.

I guess many are jumping ship because they think the trading up-date is late and therefore must be bad. There must be a lot going on and much to report so maybe that's why they could be a few days later than last year.OR maybe this is the time to top up?

Yes I have been watching these as well, tosca must think they are a good bet at about the £1.10 mark. should / could see them riase another 30p -50p over 6 months.

Maybe Andrew T thinks the sp is going down big time after having to pay more money out for Flybe and wants to buy back in when the sp hits 75p ish.

Yes it all looks like a game being played out here. If flybe are running out of money could it be that one of the parties has had a change of mind and heart and NOT put in all the money they first promised or the overheads were / are much higher than planne. So either all 3 parties will need to put more money in or someone will need to buy the othes out and carry the business on under another name.
Or it goes bust and someone buys the parts from admin. Looks like everyone has lost out here possibly even the W/ nights

I don't think they will announce any review results on friday and will keep it seperate.
If pfd do decide to sell anything surely it will take place after the full years results, so if they announce a seale it could be 1 Feb then giving 3 months notice by law to take place at the year trading end. But that could be a very big boost to the sp.Anyway what do i know.

Do you know the sp is at the same price now just before a trading up-date within a 1p or two as it was last year with everything that's gone on.

Didn't clintons go the same way.
I was in clintons for years , made both gains and losses over that time but they started to go down and down with both sales and profit and in the end and then went bust and got bought out. Maybe Card f is going the same way.

I think it's fair to say the gun and the well have been laid to rest 500 mtr down and both will never be opened again.
Let's drill another well, I am sure vog can offer more work for these quality people in Cameroon, after all vog needs to give away the shareholders aid money in 2020 just as they have in the last 5 years.

It does look like they are free but it does also have a lapse date of Jan 2030, so does that mean they can be cashed at any time up to Jan 2030 or are they a 10 year offer only to be cashed in 2030?
But it would be nice to see an sp target of say £1 before they can be cashed in.

Fair enough, I must admit there are far too many shorters now days and they will say whatever they can to drag a sp down just to buy a good price on a share.
The shorters have helped kill off companies like Debs / Thomas cook and the list goes on and on, but I know pfd will not be one of them. Not yet I hope.

Please tell us more, I have worked in the food industry for some 35 years and have held pfd for some 8-10 years and think I know pfd very well.
So if there are things which you know and we don't I would be grateful for any more info .
Are you are holder or do you work in pfd now, or is just more hot air from someone that knows nothing?

Well that video looks good, alex said that they are running at about 10% ahead on Mr Kiplin and the rest of the products were carrying the half year growth forward into the end of Dec.
Also said the business review was almost at the end stage so shouldn't be long before we find out what's what.

So far we have seen aldi food sales up and today Sainsbury's Grocery sales rose 0.4% from a year ago, with online grocery sales alone up 7.3%, Sainsbury's reported that a record 385,000 customers ordered groceries online in the week before Christmas.
So it doesn't look too bad for total foods sales, let's hope pfd get their % increase when they announce their sales growth.

Is it because vog don't like too many brokers giving their bad views of what's going on or NOT going on, and they just want to controll anything that comes out into the press.

I thought I had missed something and someone had offered £380m for our 49/50 % of Hovis, which could pay off our debt.
