Yes I think with a positive up-date and year end numbers coming in on target this should / could be back to 80p -£1 in 3-6 months. Not worried about my 47p as it brings dowm my total ave to 49p

That's a bummer i topped up at 47p, wrong call so far but you have to expect to get it wrong.

Going against the trend today , could it be a very positive up-date on Tuesday?

I think saw this coming and whatever the rights issue price is going to be it's going to be much less than tody's price.
IF it first consolidate by say say ie £2.00 odd then a rights is likely to be what £1.50, if it doesn't consolidat then what 10p - 15p. So why would anyone buy these now, best sell and buy back later.

Is it going to go down to 35p again?

prices are at almost their lowest at 2.00 $/MMBtu so surely this would have some affect on any gas supply deals that vog might be trying to do now. I know it's very difficult for small companies to buy natural gas in Cameroon but surely any big Turkish company can bring it in in big quantities if they wanted to . but if nothing else vog would have to be somewhere in line with that wouldn't they.

Would be good to get another broker price target now after the up-date, or some director buys.

If you have followed pfd over the last 5-8 years you will know that whenever they release an rns a few days after the sp always goes down again. Why, nobody knows !!!!!!!
At least it has followed the norm

So for the last 1-2 years saga have been building 2 new ships,
The Spirit of Discovery and Spirit of Adventure, which comes into service this summer.
Now the cost of these new ships has been millions, but does Saga have any old ships that will / have taken out of service and sold off to help off-set the cost of these new ships. Anyone ?
Or did they just hire the current ships from someone?

Good god was it that long ago, I remember it well when it happened but the years have flown by quicker than I thought, or it's just my old age keeping track.

The trouble is pfd sold off the brand quorn about 2-3 years ago and that brand has gone fron strength to strength, so pfd didn't put enough money / effort behind it then.
And I guess there would be something in the sale deeds that maybe said pfd couldn't re-enter the same market place for maybe 5 years, I don't know but that happens with brand sales etc.

If sales continue until year as they have done this year we could again pay off some £30m of debt and end up with approx £440m and that's without selling anything off.

I bought another chunck the other week at about 37p to bring down my ave and then sold at 44p yesterday and now hoping to buy back in if they fall again, which in the past has been pfd pattern but you can bet your life this time it will now fall back again.

The trouble is we have all seen this action before.
OK pfd need to pay down debt and to do that they will probably have to sell off some parts of the business, the bigger part of the business they sell off will get them more money to pay off more debt but the bigger bit sold off means the greater the overall sales will go down, chicken & egg.
They have over the years sold off many of the big brands and overall sales have gone down not to about half they were and still pfd has too much debt with sales increases at about 10% a year it will still take another 3-5 years to have no debt although they never really need to get to that point and should always be using other peoples money to run the business.
What we need is a takeover by nissin or someone else big for say 65p-85p and then for them to sell off the bits they don't want. I guess anything could still happen.

So with luck we should get a trading up-date and pre close rns next week.
