Hi Zylo thanks for the explanation but unfortunately it doesn't look valid in this occasion as I have just been looking through Thursdays data and found this [ie it was a sell after all]:
Date Time Trade Prc Volume Buy/Sell Bid Ask Value
05-Aug-21 09:25:15 8.60 1,000,000 Sell* 8.60 8.80 86.00k
I also noticed the following three sells which were only reported after the market closed:
05-Aug-21 15:30:52 8.944 1,000,000 Sell* 8.90 9.00 89.44k
05-Aug-21 15:44:51 8.935 639,063 Sell* 8.90 9.00 57.10k
05-Aug-21 15:30:50 8.86 339,797 Sell* 8.90 9.00 30.11k
Hi Krone, something funny was going on around that time [9:14 - 944] as the Bid was shown as 8.4 and the Ask was 8.7 and I tested the Bid price by offering 10000 shares to see what I would get and during that time it was 8.6. I eventually sold at 9:43:27 for 8.6. This was part of my trade confirmation note:
Order Type: At Best
Order Quantity: 10000
Deal Date: 05 August 2021
Deal Time: 09:43
Settlement Date: 09 August 2021
Bought: 16286325 at an average price of 6.3675 pence
Sold: 9314074 at an average price of 6.2045 pence
Total cumulative volume: 25600399 which is 350500 shares less than reported on London South East's page so maybe some transaction(s) I'm not seeing.
These figures maybe explain the increase today.
SGN001 got a mention in the following paper [dated 04 June 2021]. To read the whole paper you have to download the PDF but this is the paragraph which drew my attention:
https://bpspubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/bph.15582
“There are several trials looking at interferon (IFN) alpha and beta use in COVID-19,
mostly in addition to antivirals. Results with injectable forms have been disappointing
[99]. An investigational inhaled nebulised IFN beta-1a (SNG001) has however,
shown some promise. When administered to hospitalised patients with COVID-19 in
a phase IIb study, the likelihood of recovery by day 15 compared with placebo was
increased [99]. Several studies (mostly in multiple sclerosis) have shown no increase
in congenital abnormalities with IFN use [100], this coupled with the potentially to
bypass the placenta makes nebulised IFN beta-1a an attractive option for pregnant
women. DART studies should also be conducted with this investigational product to
allow further insights to the risk/benefit in pregnant women.”

my heart goes out to the medics who have to deal with this level of incompetence and abject stupidity... unfortunately its obvious where this will all end :(
Jarv55, true but they should stick to the terminology that we all know and which is used throughout the media. Calling it a PHEIC is just confusing and misleading AFAIK. The situation is just as grim despite what they decide to call it.

Bebeto,
Thanks. Looks like it has settled more or less on the price I calculated [£0.88 uk and €1.052]. We just need a little positive news to start moving again. Hopefully the warrants have worked their way through now.

A bit rough I know but it sounds about in the right ball park and should be worst case [eg assumes no warrants processed until now, which we know isn't 100% true]? Also assumes no bad news, which there hasn't been. Should only go up from here. Good luck all.
VCB2, Mr T is correct: don't feel bad. I feel your frustration I suspect like most people invested in CEY frustration seems to be our lot :) but things are most definitely looking up and which isn't good for the shorter, we WILL have our time :)
I'm a longterm holder of CEY and value the steady comments based on experience and well thought out logic which keeps me grounded really CEY. Regarding today's price, one question springs to mind: who stands to benefit most from a low price at this point in time?
