To be fair though I don’t think FGP will go under just that I don’t think the government will help them. They are a good company overall and management will reduce costs by laying off staff and also cutting back on IT spend, they will be able to sell off greyhound just not yet or at the price they want. Strangely though the US divisions are more likely to get state help than the U.K. ones due to EU rules.

What could happen in places like that is the council could run their own bus company, we have had one running here for over 40yrs, alongside private bus companies and stagecoach, the council one was bought by stagecoach at one point but we took it back after a year as the prices were going too high and the non profitable services were being cut ending up in a backlash to take it back.

I’ve been in meetings with all of FGP, all the train operating companies, bus depots in U.K., FGA, transit, student, greyhound, yellow school bus, first Canada, and don’t forget First Trams too. I’ve met all the managers of these places as well as been in the top brass meetings when all of these guys come together, and you know what happens.... nothing usually because it usually ended up in big argument with nothing getting resolved easily. Ended up having to almost talk to each bit of first group individually to get them to agree to any kind of standard finally. Even if it all goes south each individual depot or train company will be fine as they will just carry on under their own name instead of under the First banner

The government don’t give e a hoot about FGP they want public transport and will give it to whoever will do it for the lowest cost. FGP is too big a beast for its own good, with a myriad of companies which all operate almost independently and not for the good of the company

he could be right it looks very suspicious that it has jumped to 6p from coming out of suspension, if you look at the previous graphs it has never come that high and the RNS makes no mention of why it should be going to 10p. I suspect it is PI's jumping on the only thing that seemed to be going up with any gusto today. if there is a reason or a leak please tell me.

reading the boards someone said this will eventually go to the placing price at .011, so i thought well thats not too far, but things may go north by alot more, closed my eyes and went with gut feeling and took a punt here. if it does go to the placing price well not too much is lost, but if it does go back to the pre suspension price, it will be a significant gain.

yes but when it hits 50 and then it back tracks to 40 or even 35 , it will be squeeky bum time and many will sell, only to buy back when they see it jump back up to 40-45 and then continue on its journey, so best bet is to close eyes till the next RNS or at least thurs OPEC when this will jump again

this will easily get back to 60p within a month, and i think more like £1 and after three months should be back around £1.40 to £2

been watching this for yonks, should have bit at 11p but missed it and finally got barclays to fix my account but by then it was 15p, decided still to bite since i see this going at least back to £1 after reading fridays RNS. Wish i had put in more now, so if it went back to 15 i would double my holding.

Well what a pile of carp this has turned out to be. Having been down about -90% a long time ago and getting out I foolishly got back in when Simon came on board and now I am again back to down something worse -75% the last time I checked my account so by now I would expect I am -90% again.

Imo it’s a good thing the Holding in Enegi being donated back to enegi as it’s stops us being liable to the PVF case. Also not sure but as a donation it maybe tax deductible too??

Don’t know wether to laugh or cry with this farce of a company. The one hope we all have is this thing will finally be put down and we can all call it a day. Then someone may make a case against minty and mfdevco for fraud or something along those lines and kick his arris.
