seems a stupid decision by TUI, considering a lot of people sold because they dont like holding higher prices, It also means any newbies are not attracted due to high price. IMO i think they wanted the price higher so that they can have more room to fall or issue more shares without them falling to less than a pound

Have the shares come back yet, mine on EQI still shows as total loss -100% and i got a message saying that they will be removed until they receive the new shares, and that there may be a delay due to it being an overseas security.

for some reason i think results will be good but they ill also announce a consolidation or placing or the government will fail something, there ill be an interest rake hike or PMI or whatever will happen to ensure that the price will go down against all expectations

I bought £10k this morning and just noticed the massive drop, checked here and then saw it going back up, put in another £23k as i think the drop was over done.

i think we maybe over it, but these stupid strikes keep taking away any hope of a good feeling to keep the momentum going, its like having a nagging granny in the back of the car keep telling you to drive slowly and that your going the wrong way, now the civil servants about to join the strike, i dont know what for since they dont seem to work most of the time anyway.

i am in similar mind, been looking to buy into here and BOO, both have jumped up today although they have said revenue was down, so its not takeover news, but i think its the China affect thats lasted for the last few days + the new year vibe + the CPI data waiting to come in later, its been an almost straight line rise to 20% and boo went to 9% however i think there maybe a bunch of sells after the CPI data, as they say buy on rumour sell on news

yes sure if the price goes up but what if it goes down? wont you lose 500 to 800 pounds easy? and after your margin call closes your trade and then inevitably the price moves back BUT you dont get the money back

It’s so stupid, everybody knows that interest rates will go up to try to curb inflation, everyone knows that it won’t work as well as they expect as this inflation is caused by under supply and not by extra demand, everyone knows what will happen during his speech, and yet when the expected happens everyone panics and markets tumble, because they all hoped beyond hope that he would say everything is ok and nothing will change

Anyone know why the sudden change of direction? Any news rumours or leaks?

Im not sure what the hell is going on this BB, ive not been able to read it last couple of days and I try to catch-up on the posts, but lately the BB has turned into a circus. We have Aim with all his constant end of the world end times, Sharehead with his Karma gonna bite you, No fear with his cowboys and indians. Honestly this is beginning to sound like a good base for a monty python movie :D, all we need now is Jesus...

IMO the reason for the sell off was because of the bad press/marketing and the confusing RNS, It wasnt very upbeat on the good news and the explanation for the big losses from before wasnt made clearly enough and was used by others to make it seem alot worse than it is,

things are actually doing ok considering the global recession fears effect on the market, the sp took a beating but still held up above 25p and is looking to make a recovery, so everything is going steady, dont expect it to shoot up, but a slow rise over the next 6moths should see this back to 40+

A lot of stuff on there @rse mainly due to us not having a proper government at the moment, interest rates inflation, recession fears etc and global outlook weighing on almost everything, we’re doing rather well under the circumstances

price is holding up pretty well, i saw there was a large sell on opening so i was worried but it has picked back up. Im also wondering if that large sell was in the background all the time, preventing this from going above 30p and today they decided enough was enough? could be the citi group boys?

Not sure what to make of the RNS its not as good as I was expecting, but not as bad as some were expecting. The numbers are a bit of a mixed bag , some good progress, the debt has gone down but not by as much as i would have liked, the free cash is up, but the cost of operations is generating a massive loss and so the profit has gone down significantly. I guess its slow and steady turtle wins the race

Yes by setting a low price they can capture the stop losses, but don’t want to sell at a low price so they manipulate by having a larger spread, normally the spread is wider dependent on volatility and risk but here there is no volatility and risk of the price being any different to what it is , so they use the wide spread to effectively capture stop losses and also to prevent PI who are more dovish from buying before the price jumps on Friday

well i took a punt and bought a few, just 10k, i found this share by accident, it was showing a -19.9% today but I couldnt see any reason why, no RNS or anything, looks like there could be a quick short term bounce, even a dead cat one. Not too bothered what happens here as the rest of my money is all in CPI, which is also about to rebound.

Ye about as fully researched as Trumps idea to inject Domestos into your veins to kill Covid as it kills 99.9% of all germs, ;D

Fishing for shares imo trying as much as possible trying to scare buyers and and panic sellers, unfortunately not many willing to part I think so were forced to steadily increase the sp but successful at keeping it below 30, this is a powder keg about to blow you can see the pressure to blast through, If not for that spread this morning more buys would have pushed through 30 IMO
