Still average 91p here, held all the way down and all the back up again. I must admit the massive red number got a bit scary but was never going to last. I could dismiss all profits made this year and break even at a 74p exit price... which it almost touched today. Been a great week / month for CINE. Covid vaccine just round the corner and Moderna / AstraZeneca approvals to be announced before Christmas. Make your own decisions do not listen to the noise
I’ve got that medical health condition that prevents me from wearing a mask.... a rare genetic disease in this day and age called common sense
The bigger firms are showing support. Not checked in for a while but nice to see this on the way back up and investment companies getting back on board. Short positions will reduce again this week.
I still average 91p. I’m still not worried.
I’ve pretty much written that money off until Q2 next year, anything before that’s a bonus.
Cine isn’t the only stock that’s took a dive, if you trend a bunch of retail / hospitality stocks you’ll see a similar pattern. It’s the recovery that seems to be taking longer than others. Second largest cinema chain in the world going bust would be big headlines wouldn’t it ? Not going to happen. Plenty of films backed up and plenty scheduled for 2021.
It’s a VV shape recovery and we are at the bottom of the second V
Good luck whatever your positions
I’m in for £21k at an average of 91p... I’m 26 and earnt every penny
Must admit I was aiming for a quick return then it all went south.
Lesson learnt. Not losing any sleep over it, it’ll come good just be patient.
Good to know I’m not alone Paulh....
Trying not to keep looking on a regular basis but it’s difficult when your deep in the red.
Will start checking weekly or on news announcements
Thought we hit the bottom on Monday, unjustified -15% today other then shorts increasing.
Good luck mate, Hope there’s no second wave
I still average 91p..... holding on tight. ISA pretty much maxed out so cant average down. Analysts predicted a ‘W’ shaped recovery, we are currently at the bottom of the second V
Still average 91p here....
Anyone higher ?
The waiting game just got longer. Good job I’m not desperate to get my money back out... bloody virus.
I live on the North East coast and went out Friday, Saturday, Sunday this weekend to make the most of lockdown restrictions easing (Pubs, bars & Restaurants). It is clear to see people want to be out and aren’t worried about the virus. Friday we hadn’t booked anywhere and were turned away from the first 4 bars we tried. Fully booked. Saturday I finally managed to get through to somebody and book a table in the third choice of restaurant. Yesterday was a visit to the local and had to sit in the beer garden as no tables left inside.
My local cinema is re-open and are screening a range of pre-released favourites from the last 20 years. Capacity is reduced as expected but people are still going.
The virus is old news, we will keep getting reminders of X many people infected and X many people dead but people want normality and until COVID happens to them or someone close to home they aren’t scared of going out. Me included.
Interested to see what happens between now and 31st July then once the doors are open back to the +10% green days we’ve all seen on the way to where we are today.
Nice to know someones in the same position Paulh
I’ve thought about averaging down whilst the prices are so low but I’d be stretching my funds by doing so, so not worth it as I’m already over exposed. I Made the mistake of lumping on in transaction rather than staggering my buys.
Not taking too much notice of the the big red number and holding for greener days. When (not if) this goes back up, it’ll go back up with the same momentum as previous and I will be smiling that I didn’t bottle it.
If you look at 3month graphs most stocks in your portfolio or watchlist will show a similar trend, hitting highs early June and dwindling off ever since.
CINE
LLOY
RDSA
ITV
BP
MARS
WMH
It may take a month or two but we are gearing up for another bounce and all hoping this time will exceed previous highs.
Patience pays. I still have an average of 91p here for anyone thinking they’re out of there depths.
Anyone know when Q2 results are scheduled to be published ?
91p
Or loading CineWorld SP up it’s cannon, pointing the thing towards the sky and pulling the trigger
