Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
"Chile is to electric vehicles what Saudi Arabia is to crude oil," he told Reuters in an interview on Monday.
Chile produced 80 000 t of lithium carbonate equivalent last year, representing 35% of global production, according to official figures. Chile is the world's second largest producer of lithium and holds 48% of its known reserves.
Any agreements with Chile, then the re rate being IMO
Lets hope one of those companies is us
Prokurica, who is in London for LME Week, said he had a series of meetings with British companies about the potential formation of partnerships with Codelco to eventually produce value-added lithium products.
As Always we will be the last to know on these things. I am sure WA, Welham,Rosser and Clegg know. I just think you don't go to chile a massive producer of lithium, with anew technology that will be much more cost effective, with the very same people that are doing our independent research for them,, to then tweet that there was very strong interest, without having some knowledge of the premlim results. Interest will start to gain even more momentum, results due anytime now. So I do expect to see a few more days of high volume leading into results, if results are good we can expect a even bigger rise, then a few more weeks down the line hopefully some agreements in place after negotiations. That's my thoughts.

Now 13.33%
I think buying is just goin g to get stronger and stronger with anticipation of the Li results.
Well we haven't got long to wait I don't think until the audited results are published.
I have a feeling if there was strong interest last week, we could see a few majors getting involved and agreements put in place. If that is the case then the possibility in the very short term could well be 3-4p.
Aim is a very strange so you can never be confident of what the market is going to do, should this be at this current level given all the IP they have no, as said yesterday we should be closer to the 1p mark.
We just need something to unlock value and it could well be Lithium in the next couple of week although I am hoping it will be later this week or early part of next.
Then DSR which could be anytime when they get approval from the ministry of mines.
No disrespect to the companies we are already involved with I think if we do get some majors over in Chile, the mentality of the majors is that they don't want to be behind the 8 ball, so get one major we get several.
We will have ups and downs along the way but look forward to the re rate that will surely take place over the next few weeks/months and years.
All the best
Here comes the herd 29.76
going to get very interesting here, I feel a juicy RNS coming in the not too distant future.
cool.
hopefully another tick up later
21.85% ???
I didn't want to come across as all rampy, so was just airing on the side of caution.
Realistically with what is to come this should really be close to the 1p mark,
with good lithium results I can see 0.2 plus
get dsr confirmed.add a little more
then hopefully comes the lithium agreements with a couple of major players add some more
approx. 3 months also ---- if exactly 3 months that is next Wednesday.
I would hope WA being independent look like a company that will deliver come across as being a professional outfit plus already promoting AXM. ill stick my head out and say we will get this update on time for a change. Probably shouldn't have said that now.lol
All bodes well 12.2%up long may that continue
Couple of tweets below from WA in last couple of hours
Argentina, Bolivia and Chile all have ambitious plans to increase Lithium production and move further downstream. All looking for investors and technology providers - there will be opportunities for hard rock production, and
@FAME
processing know how could be important.
WAI R&D Director and
@FAME
coordinator Chris Broadbent is at the Guildhall in the City of London to hear about the LME's plans to trade Lithium from next year.
We have a few updates due over the next few weeks, hopefully the shares that are being accumulated are in sticky hands now so the sp can make a gradual rise until the news is released.
Lithium will be huge for us, and as reported a strong interest in AXM last week in Chile according to our independent assessor WA, would be very strange to be at the same event if results weren't that good.
Some major players at the event so interest with just one major would be phenomenal, imagine if 2-3 major players got involved.
0.115 to buy, with what could well be a major rerate on any sort of announcement with a major. Mouthwatering potential, but until then it does remain potential lets get some agreements put in place, hopefully that is taking place in next few weeks.
GLA
Over the next few weeks, we will get a slow re rate I should imagine. Based on WA tweets strong interest in Axm and wel ham , bodes well, Remember WA are doing an independent test on our tech and process, we then go to companies with these test results in hand, not just us ( say so) This to me is key, chile is massive opportunity so I can see some agreements being put in place. This is me very much assuming they already know the prelimary results. Things could start to get interesting in next few weeks.
Don't know about today but I expect it will be soon, it no coincidence that they are both at the same presentation. What is also good is the fact it's not just AXM saying it works we will have the backing of WA saying it works which should provide credibility to the company moving forward, which will open up doors to companies which probably wouldn't give us a second glance in the past. I'm really excited what this could mean to us. We are in the ball park of 3 months and these guys I don't think mess around and are on the ball so certainly in the next 2 weeks I expect we will have some clarity.
