this type of share is unlikely to go up or down quickly as its more of a defensive longterm investmenty thing that produces a healthy dividend yield. if you follow the sunday telegraph,the questor section in business have tipped this as a strong buy but more longterm growth and income.

looks good,i could be a short termer on these though,there seem to be a lot of good longterm yielders around at the moment at knockdown prices so will probably sell if they get near 10,good luck all !

glad to see i,m not the only one buying into these today. they seem quite a reasonable company and fit my current investment strategy of buying good yielders for the longterm at knock down prices.,time will tell...........

i remember being in and out of them when they were over a quid but thats when crude was around$150 a barrel. i,m holding now and have been since that institutional placing knocked them a bit but in profit so not complaining. at least with cfu,when they wanted to raise funds they gave it to us shareholders to dip in which could mean no confidence to put it to the big boys,or that old fashioned looking after their own shareholders sentiment which helped me top up today (notwithstanding the chance they,ll rocket soon with all the buying today of course!)

i had some of these from before the recent placing and got rid of most of that batch last week. today i feel lucky so got back in. for a company thats consistantly losing money,they still show great promise and this number of buys suggests some substance beyond pure speculation,i hope.................. good luck all!

maybe clearing an overhang,i note the spread is fairly tight still even with this wide buy/sell disparity. i topped up earlier within the 30000 market size and had no trouble buying. any other views?

good to see us back on track,clearly the new ceo appointment carries more confidence than the inclusion of the msci global index? anyone aware of divi dates.

i did spot them and not sure what to make of them other than i like the price. i,ve tried to buy after hours a couple of times in the past but my broker seemed to think you pay a premium but not that much. as far as i,m aware all shares open with an auction so it,ll be interesting to see where this kicks off monday. have a good weekend too mate,james

will take a look at the charts thing mate and appreciate the advice. the problem with me is that last year i was a careful investor in blue chips and my only"gambling" share was lonrho. i would invest on longterm fundamentals such as yield,profitability etc etc and then i lost a shed load of my equity on banks and a certain cut price high st.shop and the net result was to turn me into more of a gambler to make up the said losses and so i kind of lost faith in the research side of the game. we all have a few stories to tell i,m sure. i havent really researched this beyond making a snap judgement to jump in on the drop and noticing a yield that looks somewhat healthier than money in the bank. i,ve got a very mixed and diverse portfolio and spread across far more companies than i ever used to and this is yet another one! again,good luck if and when you jump aboard this one,james
