No idea,actually sold a few today to make room for a few other things in my isa today but have kept the bulk as i believe these have got much further to go and the yield cant be ignored. My remark earlier was a bit flippant about takeovers and cadburys but clearly theres something in the air as i dont recall these having such a big daily rise since i,ve had them and i,ve been buying in both my isa and nominee accounts since they were 2 and a half quid,maybe the kraft thing has woken up some interest in sweet things in general or people are buying after the holidays or the recent questor tip has drawn in some interest????

We seem to have got into a steady 30+ pattern,just going to hold but keeping an eye if i see us go into the 20,s again as that would be cheap top up territory, i reckon its only you and i left on these now!

I hate selling shares with decent yields but sometimes if you think they are at the top,why not,plenty of other things to get into,i was lucky with icx,bought and sold a few months ago but really nervous of the really small caps and thats why i consolidated my bets to just a handful of them,easier to keep an eye on

I can see the upside with any of these,its like a specky miner finding gold or oilie striking oil but the danger is cash burn(not on these) while they get the product tested etc etc, there was an article in the weekend ft which mentioned icx and identified 24 other tiddlers short on funds which got my attention and i had a few alizyme tucked away which have gone tits up,thankfully only a couple of hundred quid on them,alas the list wasnt published but check it out anyway if you havent seen it already. Skypharma was another nasty for me but my glaxo are doing well!

Yes i did,just nudging profit at the moment,fairly short term view as i dont really like pharms as a rule,but agreed they are looking good

No i was thinking of mwa,but stuck with it,just scared when they go up so quick thre,ll be a retrace,you only need to look at jpr over the last few months,did really well but wasnt a comfortable ride, by the way these have gone up a bit! Will have a look at those others you mentioned,have a look at hawk too,one of those cheap for no reason things(i hope!), good weekend mate!

Looks like we,re heading for a steady 30+ finish,wasnt able to get any cheap top ups afterall,reckon these were oversold,so will stick with what i have. Good weekend mate!

Just got 5k at 40.94, net cash,2 brokers buy, one sell, one doesnt know,according to my broker, always nervous of pharms due to cash burn and a bad experience with skypharma, but the news is positive, quick exit or hold, no yield

Well they have cash and its a good time to buy,maybe those teg things would be a good one,riddler mentioned them recently and i bought a couple although as a stand alone punt,you never know

I agree,this has defensive qualities and i think whoever that poster was expected it to do a taylor wimpey and its not that type of company,no ludicrous debt pile and in terms of a pension deficit, i,d say that applies to any company at the moment? The chance of an easy profit was fleeting but i think we,ll be okay here in the longer term and i think the guy in the weekend ft made a mistake selling his and probably created a bit of a panic by broadcasting it with such a negative spin,in my opinion!

Back to normality,contract wins and steady rises!

Who knows but they have quietly ticked back up recently ahead of that,still never understood the big drop which does rather stand out on the previous 3 month graph,perhaps it,ll be turned upside down and we could strike it lucky here,certainly interested to see what the dividend comes out at as i bought in too late for the last one

Only a few buys on friday and a good tick up,a few sells only today and rock solid on the price,a good sign maybe? I still think these are good for the £2 mark in the near future
