I,ve just asked my broker about them and they,re based around leamington supply parts for civil and military and the yield is good and progressive,went as low as 2.43 today so we need to pick our moment for an entry. i,m still holding bae in my investment account along with my boring utilities,having said that the power-generation ones and centrica have suddenly leapt into profit,the only laggers in that lot are the united utilities and severn trent, i.e.water ones most effected by the offwat nonsense. Sty nearly daytraded but might wait a bit,hawk will fly,sometime and that inclusion on an american"aim equivalent" surely must get it moving sooner rather than later.AVM,no idea beyond a 10p rise and i,m out. SDY have got base and isa holdings and will reduce if it goes 50 and top up sub 40,there is the security of a good divi.Haywards look like an out and out gamble,its all about restructuring debt,or not i gather? have had acursory look on here,a lot of recovery stuff,wary of the pharm one,trk looks interesting,hywd looks fragile,sqz will investigate as indonesia represents a big market. Have recommended a few on cosalt but my current main gamblers(i wont bore you with my nat.grid etc!) are hawk,moni,sdy,mwa(trading on profits),lonr to name but a few and have tucked away base holdings of these in my invetment account too. Actually have got some sdy in my isa acc as well,looking to flog a few if they touch 50 but like the yield too. Am still stuck with a load of raymarine at about 20p but cant bring myself to sell them as there was some talk of a 24p bid that has been forgotton about recently and the year high and low is like cosalt,know what i mean. I went on about pendragon regrets on cosalt to someone and its a real big one for me as i dumped them at 4p,okay good profit but still working out the short termism out of my system that was created by rbs and bloody woolworths! I need therapy,ha,ha! Anyway catch up tomorrow mate and thanks again for that acta whatever it was again last friday,a great little half hour trade!!!

thanks for that mate,looking a bit more positive on hawk,have replied on general chat too. Imust confess i,m not a regular to investors chronicle but like most tips, theres always so much subjectivity involved which determines how patient you,re going to be with any holding. By the way someone was singing your praises on cosalt yesterday, needless to say i joined in! On these,will have to decide whether to cut and run if they tick up a bit more then. Still holding those bluestars although they,ve shrunk back a bit last week, teg a tuck away one for me and didnt jump in to aug as was worried i,d missed the boat on fridays rise,but watching them, apologies off-topic,as usual! james

Does that alter the target exit price? Did you manage to look at that hawk post ref.the chartist view? Might not be near a computer till sunday night but really would appreciate your opinion on that as i,m heavily into them and they,re not flying..........................yet!

As long as the market doesnt fall off another cliff, i can see these with a 3 in front over time,i think of these everytime i open a can,like our sugar shares, lifes essentials!

Just checked with my broker,he says theres a division of lloyds called insight investment management that have got some of these for their investors which ties in with riddlers post the other day and might explain the interest here?

Good morning! Just had a look at aug and might have missed the boat? With reference to charts, i,ve got quite a big holding in hawk and on the site theres a post with the blooingers etc on wednesday at 21.33,if you get time could you have a look and let me know if its a good sign?

Not complaining as i,m in profit but since things have improved somewhat,just surpised on that basis we,ve only seen a slow correction,rather than a healthy big bounce. Maybe your charts are predicting one soon, just worried if i,m honest if we bail out at sub-2 quid,it,ll have that bounce, its happened to me before too often, mind you i always reinvest my funds so if i sell,hopefully the next one will be even better. I,m curious about those augean,think you have some,had some ages ago and got out on a profit in a time when profits were a tad scarce,any thoughts?
