I see that idiot has been removed,i nearly posted him after that threat to someone or other but by the time i looked again, hes gone and rightly so! I did mention it on there that if you sign up on their website,you get all the releases, i,m assuming you,ve got those already? Took my holding to a less scary 60k of shares and just in profit now,unlike last week! It remains my biggest holding and am going to see where it goes from hereon. I really cant see these wild estimates of £2-odd can you,having said that,those gkp things went from 5p to a quid recently and if i,m honest i,d rather topslice and lock in profits if we go anywhere near 60p or do you reckon we need to employ those nerves of steel that sat on awful losses to sitting on enormous profits if/when we get there?

Have been manic at work today but ended up flogging a few hawk and averaged down on songbird,chasing losses but first buy was at 3p, today i quadrupled my holding at less than 1.5p. Bought bae at 3.18 in the end,you knew it was going to happen! Kept mwana and shuffled a few others around. Hawk remains my biggest,over 20 grand in an aim share,scary stuff but thankfully in profit and have got loads of updates from their website telling me how well they,re doing,hmm we,ll see! has the spread always been so wide on this one mate!? On the other one,keeping a low profile there today as the greed will no doubt create more over-exuberence and i cant be bothered with it! Original strategy,just get my money back,next strategy top slice or reduce when we got to where we appear to be now,new strategy i really dont know-having gone through weeks of constant averaging down and "fear",sorely tempted to see where it goes. Yes theres some illiterate muppet on there trying to wind me up as we speak,so might have to swap strategies on here instead for a while,talking of which my sentiment has changed on that topslicing target too mate!

Didnt get into bae in the end,watching tomorrow. Only 5k of IFL,wasnt planning to keep them much beyond say 55/60 but that hasnt happened, just relieved i,m touching profit on my hawk play,at last! Have no idea where thats going but strategies are always fluid as things rise and fall. Not holding the angels at the moment

Okay, going to hold off on gallifords,good company but small yield. Will be joining you on bae but need a bit more from a few others and if i,m honest my instinct is saying keep a watchful eye and try and get them on a sub-3.20 blip,i know its vanity for a few pennies on an investment but......... Nearly had a go at marstons but the billion or so debt makes it a punt rather than investment for yield you can forget about. Was tempted to bale out of the rest of my mwana but seem to have developed a dont care see where it goes attitude(propped up my flogging a few along the way,so they dont "owe" me anything), enjoy your work,i better get on with mine too,run my own business,staff,cashflow,pain in the wotsit clients, love it/hate it!!! Okay,just knocked out my excess 3k of HMV now going to sit on the rest for yield, 10k of HAWK gone (still got 70k of them=biggest holding and holding) both at small profits but funds now available for BBY rights and topped up on my national grid,boring i know but yield and security etc. Worked out the ex-rights price on yesterdays close etc on BBY to be c.2.75 if you,re looking at them

Okay galliford are in the buying window,spoke to my broker and he is positive on them too,but at what price??? Bae is also on the target list but i,m waiting for a bit closer to 3 quid,maybe 3.15/3.20. The new isa rules mean you can put in another 3 grand from when do you know? Sorely tempted to hold my over sized hawk holding as i,ve been fretting over them a few weeks being underwater,be nice to have the greed dilemma and dont need to raise the funds for the bby rights for a week or two. Yes they,re bristol based,but all their stuff is in the states and they also have a us-listing now as well as aim here. Cant remember the last time i did "town", mind you have some good memories of cavorting around the park street area till all hours and waking up the next morning smelling of doner kebabs,could go on but open site and all that!!!! My missus and i very quiet these days,unless you include an evening at costco followed by a bite at the priory in portbury!

Yes i,m interested in them,think i mentioned on ifl earlier that figure,do you concur and whats the entry point? TW,short term forget it,the big boys are too high,redrow may be the exception there but like the fact gallifords are raising cash to specifically fund some cheap plots. Persimmon have got the largest landbank but dont know if they,re off loading any. As in the early 90,s, there are some bargain basement prices and some heavily endebted builders(will they ever learn) and i was going to invest in a new issue called "landbank" but they never listed as far as i know,so if thats why they,re raising the cash,then i,m viewing it as an investment rather than a punt,its overlooked currently that people actually want to buy houses and move due to the size of deposits required and job uncertainties but i believe demand is building up as people still change their circs and as an estate agent mate of mine said recently "theres a lot of people living in the wrong houses"! Anyway, i,d like some of that!

just done a rough calculation on GRFD on yesterdays closing price,with the post rights and consolidation and got to 405 on that basis, so they,re not desperately cheap or oversold now?

Careful finding the bottom on those big miners mate, a friend of mine does that with xstrata but i just cant bring myself to do those as i remember being in them at a fiver! Those gallifirds are worth keeping an eye on if they,re raising funds to build houses,that will return........

Thanks for looking at them,just knocked out the TNZ for 150 quid profit,not earth shattering but keeping funds close by as i,ve got a massive BBY rights issue to fund, i,ve managed to accumulate 5k of them and worked out i,ll need about 4 grand to buy all the rights! Glad your mining operations are going well. I,m sitting on 5k of IFL, exit price 55-60,or hold? WICH and also PSPI look interesting but i take your point on the latest "lets try and save money initiatives" in the public sector which makes them a tad vulnerable. On property,commercial is very tennant-friendly at the moment, residential is perking up a bit as people want to move before they shift the stamp duty levels again, i.e. 175-125 on the first threshold but how much of that will filter into other sectors remains to be seen as the volumes are still low. Holding the usual ragtag of mwa,lonr etc but hawk and to a lesser extent moni remain the big ones in my gamblers....

Its not a bad place, especially on the coastline above sand bay, you could imagine you,re in north cornwall! So XTR is a day-trader with potential then.......just debating whether to sell my TNZ bought them at about 16 and now they,re 19, quick profit within settlement period or longterm hold,decisions,decisions.....where do you live in bristol?
