seems a bit stagnant here today,did well on a dawn raid on desire so used the ill-gotten gains on mwana and noventa,not buying any more nighthawk,sitting on a nasty loss there but it is cheap at the moment if you havent already got vanloads at 40-odd pence! spice having a mini-bounce i see.....

Well had a good weekend not talking about shares till a friend mentioned how well he's done on desire so I take a look on here and he may rue that statement it seems? Haven't seen the times article and I guess you haven't as you hate the papers,will miss the early doors but may take another look at rockhopper if it falls overly. A tad happier with PMK after a perusal of what's on here but not clear if it's due a bounce or another fall,out of my hands either way!! Mind you being out of cosalt now, 'gladys' can no longer take the mickey about the caravans we saw at billing aquadrone in npton,I have a feeling you'll ditch them and go into nvta bigtime,let me know if you decide to make them a big one. Have decided,post-jarvis to continue with the more in less policy and have just 4 or 5 gamblers rather than trying to have a bit of everything,hence nothing and keep topping up the sensible ones as and when. The capital gains issue looks like it won't be an issue for a longtime now,whoops but I've still got my sense of humour,I think and it's going well with 'gladys' too.

The targets and the ft report all looking positive,not about till later tomorrow due to Northampton commitments and boring work but hope to see this with a 2 in front shortly!!! Have a good early start yourself,woolfie and the crew. Can't figure about the cable and wireless thing as I held them before so seem to have shares in both companies now,not a trading stock but a yielder for me,will investigate for my brokers opinion if you want. Not in the falklanders(surprisingly) but keep an eye on desire and rockhopper early doors for a drop maybe overdone on that times article. NVTA seems to have fallen into the MWA sit and keep department,bouncing around hasnt been overly successful for me and nor has sitting on jarvis,cosalt etc and i nearly bought those titan/tsw things the other day but figured i didnt want another has been waiting for a bounce,i was clearly wrong! I have clambered back into HLO again but not making any predictions or recommendations as i,m beginning to think shares isnt my forte atferall,gets like that sometimes.......have a great weekend too mate and let me know when you get into noventa,just not sure about the other one.

Cheers mate,its the worst case scenario but nothing one can do. Agree on spice however they did this last year then came back,at least i,ve got a decent average overall(37/38),ROK is still cheap and goes ex-div next week,slightly concerned about PMK,averaged down to early 4,s on todays drop,will have a quicker exit available if the sentiment improves. And no,i didnt sell noventa when the bid went to 9 this morning!!!! Cosalt, i,m just relieved to be out of them if the truth be known. Glad to see nighthawk in the mid-20,s again,long way to go for me but at one point i thought they would be down to 10p or worse!

Well i think you,re right on these,possibly a slow ride back up after all the fun of this week rather than another rapid bounce back?

i,m not recommending here but do you have any words of encouragement for my PLUS investment,averaged down on the drop tp early 4,s,holding 250k of shares there,trade out on a bounce/reduce on a bounce/kiss the lot goodbye and put it down to a bad one????

slugs,fancy deserting woolfie and i to face the spice loss on our own!!! oh,well at least theres a div on the bloody things,lucky the missus cant read ha ha! anyway the fountain of all knowledge,this weeks edition of IC says good value and describes us as "brave" whilst taking the credit for the tips on when to sell and buy as ever!!!

cw was widely tipped for such action but well covered in a tasty div,i assume the split into the two holdings means they both pay dividends?

p.s. have we decided whether hlo is male or female,or will that be determined on the speed of recovery to dizzy heights over 2 quid,the old girl is getting closer.........we wont mention spice at the moment as "she,s" still plumbing new depths!!!!

Well i,m in all 3 plus the cable and wireless from before and all i can say is god help us!!!! wolfie,why do they "genderise" things around here,just went to get some new wiper blades and apparently my car is a "he",not an it or even a landrover!!!!

i hate spice!!! despite persistant averaging down,sitting on a massive loss now,spoke to my broker who reckons they,re okay,quoted some numbers which i dont understand about cover,roll over debt etc so have decided to keep them as a longterm hold as opposed to a quick in and out. these seem undervalued so will hold for 2+,the old girl plodding along nicely..........

just looking at the spice debacle and my plus averagedown earlier and thinking this isnt turning out to be a good week for me,not to mention the jarvis incident,what is it they say, unlucky at cards................................!!!!

already in them pre-split,not sure on how it has panned out but the yield is fantastic
