The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Week on week growth in number of infections of 70% suggests numbers double every 9 or 10 days. As the numbers reported are circa 30k per day, projecting at this rate would indicate in the region of 120k daily infections by 19th July.
Not quite the 500k suggested here, but very concerning :-(
Raffyn, those numbers are misleading as you are missing annual S&A costs of circa £15-20m, plus minority interest corporation tax and interest charges, which will wipe out most if not all of the GP for 2021.
GFD - why are you saying with certainty that EUA will pay out a terminal dividend and will not continue as a going concern?
That is conjecture, as we don’t know what assets are being sold, for example WK could remain.
Billions - agree that the most important part will be the binding offer and not the dividend. However, the SP will not rerate to this amount as there will be a significant tax liability on the assets sales that will need to be offset against the sale proceeds.
EUA will have to RNS this information so that the Market can value the company and therefore put a figure on the SP.
GFD - it is not a given that EUA would become a cash shell.
There is a good possibility for example that WK could remain and EUA alongside this continues as an exploration and mining business, proving up the JV assets.
GFD - here is an example of a “reverse speeding ticket” from May 2019 when BMN was thought to be being shorted.
“Comment on Share Price Movement
Bushveld Minerals Limited (AIM: BMN), the AIM listed, integrated primary vanadium producer, with ownership of high grade vanadium assets, notes the recent downward movement in its share price. The Company confirms that it is not aware of any corporate developments that support such a movement.”

The RNS was issued intraday and the SP immediately went into an upward reverse climb.
Different situation here but just for reference as an example as you requested.
Cheers
CAW1 - “In the last 2 weeks about 20m in 1m+ trades have landed on deck. Majority on the medium to not effect the SP. IMO someone (BR possibly - no1 contender) accumulating them. Big shorts have closed at the same time so going long and short at the same time to accumulate on the cheep.”
Just catching up on the BB - if BR are accumulating as you suggest where is the evidence on the Morning Star stock holdings data that is often referenced here?
Viper... "I did some more research and doubled my position". ….."Thanks for letting me know - Am out of this share now without a loss"
So you bought two shares in total , went for a sh1 t, came back realised you were out of your depth and offloaded! That is absolutely priceless. Like you DaisyDog, that Viper dude honestly made my day!!

Breaking ground on 9 June 2021 as construction starts at the vanadium electrolyte plant located at the East London IDZ in Eastern Cape, South Africa. A partnership between Bushveld Energy and the @IDCSouthAfrica.
Travis, CW1, LB - if I’m understanding this correctly, the suggestion is that BLackRock are loaning out stock to shorters to drive down the SP to gather more shares at cheaper prices. If this is the case, where is the evidence of their increased holdings?
Newbie (Pete) - HS account has been deleted, presumably by Admin and posting history vanished.
Tbf, I only reported HS for multiple identity check (which is against LSE rules), so have now reported the other Chuckle Brother (NTTG2) for identity check also!
GLA
I’ve reported HS ands NTTG2 to admin and politely requested a check for multiple identities. I suggest others to the same.
Did the same thing earlier this week for some complete twunt called Lucretius and he was duly evaporated.
Here’s to a positive blue open on Monday.
Sammy, i believe you should be able to transfer to a SIPP and invest directly in BMN, but would need to do so with an IFA as the transfer value would exceed £30k.
If an annuity has already been purchased then I don’t believe it is possible.
GFD - well the AGM was announced yesterday as I had predicted. As promised I contacted a mate, a Main Board Director on a FTSE250 and the Co sec got back to me late last night. Obviously the response was too late and does not matter now, but here is his response as promised:
“The Articles of association for a plc normally contain the exact way to work out the 21 day notice period for an AGM and additional allowance days for deemed delivery. I would suggest that if not in this case you would normally leave an additional 2 days for postal deemed delivery.”
If nothing else it’s good to know for future reference.
Cheers
