That was so worth watching right the way through - a great walk through and full explanation of the phase 2 trial results - thanks for posting. For all PIs it will give you added comfort and assurance over your investment!
CW25 - can’t remember another day like today!! I believe that RM has a number of ‘events’ lined up over the coming weeks - have always believed that unblinding the COPD data was to support something unrelated to COVID. He also admitted that the company was about ‘derailing’ the process for a large pharma to come in and ramp up the operation. The more it’s derailed the higher the price - suspect that one or more has SNG in view at a certain price. I’m holding because I think there is an exit on the horizon
Just watched the recording and, as a recent shareholder, thought it was a good communication to explain the strategy and plans - also helped to understand the thinking behind it. With the stability of the fresh capital, more focussed exec team, and a political commitment for construction and infrastructure I feel very positive for this shareholding over the medium term
Maybe RM will take it to the wire...week after next...think he said in the IG interview words to the effect of ‘about a month from now or something like that’....who knows.
Also, that interview also had him saying that the plans include running further clinical trials later this year - clearly believes the need for a P3
70 out of 200 work population test positive

CW - well done in the acquisition! I’ve found the last few months has been good for doing business so I know that I’m fortunate.
Next week or so is going to be interesting - it’s how much further in I go! Topped up twice yesterday and will probably add more next week. Again, to find We’re virtually back at the placing price is astonishing - remembering that it had to be more speculative back then - and now seeing how the trials have been adapted to (we believe) optimise SNG’s effectiveness....well I can only now see this as a great opportunity for investors.
All to be revealed soon....bring it on!
CW25 - I’ve been thinking much along the same lines - remembering that a fair amount of the capital raise was to tackle the commercial and production challenges. I remember seeing a US visual when the virus story really broke a number of months ago and it portrayed the top 50 candidates for likely therapy success. As you can imagine it was dominated by US pharma cos and Synairgen was the only U.K., and one of very few EU cos, highlighted.
The beauty of being a small co is that corporate work can be conducted in efficient fashion - doesn’t require endless committee meetings etc - and RM will have significant scope and authority to act. I would be absolutely gob-smacked if there is no commercial news forthcoming around the same time as the initial trial results. Remember RM rallying cry (ok....reasoned voice) “This is our time”
CW25 - if it comes off does this bring fwd your plans for national estate agency domination!!!
CW25 - I’m sure that RM has been active in that regard - he won’t have been sitting at his desk with his feet up over the last few months waiting for a readout. Also, the large pharma cos will be all over the market assessing where there might be possible breakthrough therapies and being proactive in opening approaches. I’m confident that alongside any trial results there will also be commercial announcements
Eva - my two penny worth.....
This major ‘investor’ has its own agenda - remember they’ve acquired at a fraction of the market price - heavily discounted by Link already in a highly leveraged debt purchase.
When the placing took place at 35p you could say it was then at its most speculative - since that time we’ve seen other therapies try and fail - whereas SNG has obtained agreements to vary its trials and even accommodate a first-of-its kind home trial, highly suggestive that safety is not a concern. It’s all down to effectiveness and we’ve all done our research, looking at SNG track record and expertise, together with the seemingly increasing evidence that Interferon B is effective - and we think especially with the method that SNG is dispensed etc etc
So to me I think this is more derisked than when the placing took place a few months ago. And with the background selling has kept the sp depressed - which I feel is a terrific buy-in opportunity with results out very shortly
