Hi Benbay001 - Surprised no-one has enlightened you regarding the use of plywood in high rise construction. When pouring concrete for each floor, it needs to be contained until hardened and cured. Shuttering or formwork is the term used for creating a box-like container into which the concrete is poured. Following the hardening process the plywood which forms the base of the box needs to be taken down - hence the development of this incredibly useful machine which no doubt allows more of the recovered plywood to be used on the next floor. Reduced waste = cost saving.
Look at the video and notice the jacks used to hold the plywood shuttering in place until the new concrete floor is completed:-
