Watching...maybe? Depends on how much the buyer values the team and its other products, both those existing and in progress. What happens if Novacyt have an antigen test close to roll out? Could they cope?

So far the BOD have shown great leadership to get production to the levels they have done in such a short time. The skill of the company and its staff in achieving this will not have gone unnoticed. If I was a large Pharma, this highly skilled team and its products would be firmly be on my radar.

I have read this passage from the latest RNS again....I could be wrong of course, but I honestly believe that this is a farewell from the chairman and that TO talks are in an advanced stage.

As a result, and despite our best efforts to ensure we are fully prepared to meet demand, the rate of sales growth is beginning to be restricted by our ability to scale-up manufacturing as quickly as we would like. This, therefore, remains an immediate priority for the Company and it is our objective to make as many tests available to as many clinicians around the world as quickly as possible. We are very pleased with how our manufacturing partners, BioType and Yourgene, are supporting Novacyt during this time and we continue to evaluate additional capacity enhancing options to address the global demand for our COVID-19 test. Again, I would like to thank all of our employees and suppliers for their ongoing hard work and support during this pandemic."

Can see this taken out by a large Pharma...purely on the world wide demand for the test. Cant see how Novacyt can scale up any quicker than they are doing

Due to the global demand the company must IMO be in takeover talks....read carefully this paragraph again from today's RNS....sounds like a goodbye to me...

sharehunter I had one attempt at profit taking and buying back in...waste of time. I am holding for the TO RNS or £5 whichever comes first

I think we are going to see an offer for the company in the next few days. Whilst Novacyt would love to fulfil its potential on its own I think the pandemic and the bigger world health picture will dictate a large Pharma gets the test to market. £5-£10 a share IMO

Steady rise today...should see 2.50 tested

This is a pretty easy call IMO... novacyt had an approved test for a virus causing a pandemic...hardly rocket science. Don’t be fooled by the experts asking you to invest elsewhere...

2.05 to sell going to go a lot further

£5 still on the cards as a TO is very possible.

Tomvisual... nothing has failed. There is no perfect medical advice and so far the WHO hasn’t proved itself to be an authority on containing the virus. The uk is in a critical period and as far as I can see we are where we expected to be. This isn’t about people not getting infected it’s about when. The UK government is working on their own strategy which I respect....too early to say we’re wrong and proud to be part of an independent nation.
