You'd expect that the target was known and was working last year already when you look back at the chain of events.

The company I work for got bought out recently. Just received a letter today saying it's all good and there will be no changes in company structure. I doubt that will be the case as operations begin to link together.

Thanks to covid and the irresponsibility of lockdown, many wont be as lucky - they could be furloughed now but might not have a job to go back to - you are non essential remember?

The sooner this returns the better. I have missed far too many opportunities by not keeping myself as liquid as I had of hoped. Perhaps we expected this to return sooner though...?

Still hoping in the 1st half of this month we should at the very least hear something. Perhaps even a name if the incoming company is prepared for that? Notice on share structure would be nice too so we can work out what we are returning with...

I think it comes with the frustration of waiting for so long.

Assuming there was a target ready last year the wait and the concern over cash will weight on people, me included.

I hope that we are much further down the line in terms of progress and getting us back to the market now than what we was at the start of April.

My own expectation would be to hear something between the end of this month and mid June. So fingers crossed there has been no problems or this will add to the time it takes to get us back...

Assuming there is a process underway, the back and forth I'd expect probably takes 2 weeks in either direction for questions/clarifications etc.

As for would I go in with the same names again. Depends who they were and whether there have been lessons learned from this experience. I'm sure there has been.

With how long it has gone on and the number of opportunities that have passed by I'm now of the mindset that even 0.2 isn't worth it...

I know that sounds unusually negative of me but the wait has been frustrating and I've lost count of just how many 10 baggers have passed me by since being in here.

That website hasn't been the best since inception. A lot they could literally just delete now and it would make it a touch more accurate.

Currently not regulated by market rules. Which to me begs the question do we need an EGM when it comes to the RTO? Once a stock exchange accepts the criteria for the listing and the fca approve of the transaction do we not fall under another set of rules until listed? As Bermondsey says, more like a Ltd co?

I'm with HL and like me I believe you have these in your isa. If you leave them there they will just automatically move them as and when to the fund and share account unless you explicitly state otherwise (ie opt for share certificates)

What I would say is if you've waited this long dont rush to sell... feeding someone else's gains...

It could take a few weeks. You'd need to speak to HSBC to determine their procedures. If you have to send the physical piece of paper in to them, keep a copy and do it via recorded delivery.

Bit disappointed they didn't ask what you want to have done with them first...
