As i said last week, the brand has credibility in the sector for collaborations and initiatives. This now needs to be translated into substance which can only come from completed projects/generated income.
Still firmly believe that will come very much sooner than later now.
With recent funding confirmed along with a plethora of collaborations and partnerships my expectation is an upbeat trading statement later this month , with ideally evidence of income generated. That hopefully should start some long overdue sustained interest.
I've always held the view that once the income started to flow this company would be picked up as a bolt on by a major player.
Nothing seen to date to dissuade me otherwise.
Good start to the week. Convinced we're close to a Toyota update which will help forward momentum with the SP.
Nature of the company is about building a portfolio of high calibre collaborative projects. The only question is whether people get on board now or wait for execution by which time the opportunity may well have been missed.
Exactly..my point entirely.
A relationship or collaboration with a major player such as Toyota reinforces the credibility of the company and recognition in others of it's ability to add value in other disparate sectors. Not a 'one trick pony'.
I share your concern re sustainability of the current workforce but recent implementation of 'golden handcuffs' around incentive schemes is a step in the right direction.
Eqtec and their collaborations will quickly be on the radar of some major players who see a strategic 'bolt on'. That will test the mettle of the board but should also serve to boost the SP.
Impossible to speculate unless you're on the board.....
The critical thing is the credibility this gives to Eqtec and interest it will spark with a wider audience of investors. Toyota, a global brand, are not going to get into bed with a company unless they have not undertaken severe DD. They are trusting their brand with Eqtec and whatever comes from this opportunity should not be understated.
Hopefully more to come on the back of this.
Good to see this. A premium partnership/collaboration is what has been needed and this has come a little from left field. Using their expertise in other industries. Hopefully the start of more similar strategic sector moves.
As I have said previously, perhaps too much been made of Wood Group .
Let's see where this goes now.
Well done Reg.
I'm in your camp although I think the Wood Group is being overplayed generally. However, believe like many there are enough positives to suggest your timeline is certainly achievable, if not a little sooner.
Investment is not for the faint hearted. If you believe in a company and its prospects and have no tangible evidence to suggest your original rationale for investment was flawed then the current price represents a remarkable opportunity to invest further.
My original investment was based on growth sector, legislative and regulation policy changes that will only enhance opportunities in that sector, smart collaborative policies that will enable future diverse income streams ,funders willing to support strategy.
I shall be following my own advice and top up further.
Further good news reinforcing the robustness of the company and long term strategy.
This scheme is in line with where the business believes it is now and its ambitions within the sector. Rewards that entice and retain talent....and 2 years before the reward can be exercised provides further evidence that the company and its value is only going in a northerly direction.
Suffice to say plenty going on.
This company has a coherent strategy underpinned by tremendous groundwork and diligent investment in 'added value' collaborations.
Likely to encourage suitors in the not too distant I suspect, but for the moment plenty of growth potential.
Good news.
Both aware of each others strengths and areas of expertise. Allows Eqtec to focus on what they do best leaving Logik to use their guile to source sites. Strategic collaboration is what this sector is all about.
As more news gradually comes into the public domain , the more likely we will continue to see an upward trend maintained.
If the case is thrown out next week that should provide momentum through 3p, as well as stirring more positive collaboration opportunities in the US.
A lot spoken about Wood but there are other UK collaborations and site acquisitions not yet mentioned on this board that should break before Feb...all positive news.
