Not sure what I'm missing regards exchange Rate issues. I did when there was a distinct correlation between NYSE CCL and CUK but since they announced a one for one exchange, the differential has reduced from several dollars to 20 odd cents. Therefore I can see an exchange issue if we want to sell post exchange and dividend but at the moment I just can't see the problem with currency fluctuations.

Of course I'm happy to be enlightened.

Bot, certainly will both regards the itinerary and the ship. As you will know from posts in October that we were very disappointed with standards, particularly food on P&O. I truly hope I have a better report this time.

Sorry to hear that the weather is bad in the UK. We're about to board in Buenos Aires for South America and Antarctica on Holland America . Currently 32 degrees.

Everything about Arcadia was absolutely fine except food quality (in our opinion). We think it has deteriorated particularly over the past 15 months. You might recall my post in April regarding food quality on Arvia after our 22 nights in the Caribbean.

I genuinely believe P&O are actively trying to reposition themselves in the cruise market as a family holiday experience rather than a cruise line. I've thought this for a couple of years. Look at their language in their advertising. The experimental changes to their adults only ships just reinforces that thinking for me.

Will certainly post a review upon our return (11/01/26). Never sailed H/A before but really looking forward to this one. Flying to Buenos Aires, Argentina, Uruguay, Falklands, 4 days in Antarctica the sailing the Chilean Fiords before returning via Santiago.

Never sailed better than balcony but often take an inside as we would rather sail more frequently.

We have sailed regularly with p&o during the past 10 years (Caribbean level) however we have experienced during 46 night sailing during 2025 the food has just deteriorated beyond our threshold.

Arrived back a couple of weeks ago from 3 weeks Cruise to Canada on P &O Arcadia. No complaints bar the food which was awful. Buffet at lunch was terrible with little choice. Cod replaced with Hoki. In the restaurant portions were OK in the evening but tiny at lunch time. The vegetables were dreadful in theevening. Nothing was fresh. Only given peas which were always like bullets, frozen beans or carrots and when i say carrots I actually mean 1 carrot baton. Never got 2!

We eat well at home and I'm not going on holiday to eat poor food. It was so poor we have returned home and cancelled a 16 nights cruise in March (loosing our deposit but not prepared to throw good money after bad).

Going with Holland America to South America and Antarctica over Christmas and New Year so let's hope for better!

Not sure if I'm jumping the gun or adding 2 plus 2 and making 5 but we've just had notification that our 4 week cruise on Queen Elizabeth from Miami has been cancelled due to deployment. Checked a few queen Elizabeth cruises at and around that time and they are all showing sold out (they were turning sold out literally as we researched).

Perhaps there is an issue with Miami as this her permanent base from mid October 2025! Let's hope not.

Sund, if the information that you have found is in the public domain, can I ask why on earth you wouldn't share it with the rest of the group? Unless of course you are here to gleen as much from others as you can without offering what you have in return.

Our experience of Iona is better than Arvia as well particularly re food standards.

Let's just hope that it was a blip.

Agreed saga is very expensive.

Young retiree, I'm 63 and have been retired since 2012.

We were on queen Anne in November and were happy with the standard albeit lower than when we sailed with Cunard several times 10 years previously. If all the cruise lines are heading for the same decline in standards then I will be concerned.

In the past 14 months.

The cruise had many positives including the Olive Grove and Green and Co which has started to offer a few Asian meat dishes and a 3 course fixed deal for £9.99.

I'm sure the company as a whole will come through and shares will grow. I just feel that P&O are diversifying to a different market which could be good business sense, however it might be a market that doesn't meet our personal needs.

I will be reinvesting hopefully at a good price. With the number of cruises we have I can't afford to not own at least 100.

Yes we flew out to Antigua and did the last 12 days in the Caribbean then sailed back to Southampton - total 22 nights.

We've been really loyal to P and O over the past 10 years or so, with5 in

Ken, Schweppes not available on P and O as Britvic is their cheap mixer. Also Fevertree now replaced by London Essence which in my opinion is quite inferior.

Hopefully CCL will have a better week although I'm not going to hold my breath.

I sold out last Monday primarily because I was worried about the possible reaction to Trump but also because of a very underwhelming 3 weeks on Arvia (home last Sunday) - onboard prices up, exhausted staff, poor food in MDR, reduced and repetitive entertainment, appalling customer service pre cruise, a new and rediculous towel policy and an on board app that couldn't even monitor your on board spend!

We've been very loyal P&O customers for 10 years or more but I think that they have gone too far in cut backs. Very 3 stars! We have one more cruise lined up on Arcadia in September (last chance). 2 Cunard and 1 Holland and America also lined up so will remain loyal to CCL but so disappointing.

Trump effect plus historical behaviour of the share you could well be right with £12.

Whatever, I won't be buying in March as we fly to Antigua on Saturday for a 22 night cruise on Arvia arriving back in Southampton on 30th March.

Incidentally my average is £1027 and after this cruise I will have had £1040 back in OBC.

Clearly all the uncertainty created by Trump has had a major impact on the share price directly and indirectly via currency exchange rates however, it wasn't very long ago that this share was regularly oscillating between £8 and £11 or more. For the sake of simple maths that circa 30%. Therefore I don't think that we should be surprised with similar swings now just because it's gone up so much. £20 down to £15 is well within historical swings.

Personally I'm keeping an eye on around £14 for topping up.

That's helpful thank. We regularly use P and O or Cunard but couldn't resist at such a silly price. Will meet up with sister in law in Hamburg and haven't been to Rotterdam. Not bothered about Le Have. Your advice re Zeebrugge is appreciated!
