Largely agree Ruck with your first statement and it would be nice to just get a discussion about the wider science without being accused of trying to score points or you have some ulterior motive. I have no issue whatsoever about how big or small anyone’s investment is here as it is dependent not only on personal financial circumstances,risk attitude but crucially on how well they understand the fundamentals here as well as having a diverse portfolio.
It is this idea that only SCLP has the answers and yes I do believe that regarding the Covid Vaccine their Approach is unique but you can only get a better insight into that by considering other approaches and judging in the round rather than just an unshakeable belief in the ability of all things SCLP related.
Like you Ruck I do believe “ Scancell have never been better placed to capitalise on their amazing science - 5 platforms ready to go, a Covid treatment in the middle of the worst pandemic for 100 years, fully funded with possibly more to come. “ and how can that be seen as anything else except very positive and confident.
The fact that others prefer to have not gone all in here including me is both a recognition of the risks here despite the huge upside and the fact that many other approaches are likely to be successful as we have seen are there are imo equally if not better opportunities elsewhere.
But as always it is an individual decision and no criticism intended for anyone who does think it is only about the amount you hold and equally there should be no criticism of anyone who takes a different view.
