I thought someone might highlight the 100 day CEPI ambition and yes in the future that may well be possible but again I think they are in the first instance mainly hinting at Vax that can be either repurposed/ modified to complete their Approval process.
As I highlighted the MHRA have amended their protocol for Covid Vax but based on Approved Vax so for say the Oxford Chad Vax you would not need to repeat full p1 and 2 of you simply added new antigenic strains into current vector Vax,you would then do Lab based p3 rather than big human trials and that would get you within 100days with rolling submission.
Will be different to a new un Approved Vax like SN15 which will need to go through normal protocol in first instance except where there is maybe a completely new pandemic threat or new variant that none of current Vax work against and then in light of no alternatives they may use an accelerated EUA type of pricess

Hi Crumbs/Ratty.Nice replies and I am not interested in trying to analyse whether they were buys or sells as it was a strong rebound on Friday which was great to see and I really look forward to the next news on SN15 as you can then start getting a much better timeline moving forward.
In terms of the 8 Vax I expect at least Oxford ChAd,Bion Tech J and J,Moderna,Novavax and the other 3 to be currently in p3 trials.Many of these allow for a plug and play approach towards inserting variant antigenic strains or modifying mRNA bit to work against the 3 strains of interest.
MHRA has already given an accelerated Approval protocol for already Approved Vax for normal p3 which is the lengthy part of the process to be essentially lab based to be completed in 2-3 months so that could be done by Sept.
Plus all the manu facilities could be altered to accommodate new strains as they are already “ booked” for Approved Vax.
As I say the SCLP approach and need for a Universal Covid Vax is a game changer and I am very optimistic but it will not be ready for mass Vax by September purely down to the fact it would need to complete p1,2 and 3 and get Approval within 5 months when it took likes of Oxford/Bion Tech 9/10 months and they already had the financial backing and scale up facilities planned oven ready.

Morning.I know I will get accused of raining in the parade by some but think about it.If these Booster Vax are going to be ready for September do we really believe that SN15 will be Approved by then considering we have not had a date for start of p1 yet.
So the one that covers the 3 strains is much more likely to my just a multi Valent version of one of Approved Vax rather than a Universal Covid 19 Vax.
I do believe that should SCLP get a Covid Vax Approved it will be fantastic I just think it would be nigh on impossible to be market ready by September particularly as its protocol is prime and boost and not boost.

WTP as Bermuda said and he tracked down the original article which was not evident from the tweet it referred to SARS 1 so not Covid and from about 15 years ago.So to extrapolate to current situation that is a very long stretch

As I also highlighted yesterday there has been peer reviewed work done in 2020 to claim the opposite that the early Vax yes targeting the S protein produced a positive protective effect on pneumonia in mice.But that is sometimes the nature of science which can produce conflicting evidence.Just look at AZN Vax results interpretation to show how science can be looked at differently.
As you say when I looked at that tweet none of it made sense to me and a poor reason for selling up assuming that was the genuine reason imo.

You keep on dragging up one previous AIM bio pharma investment which “ no one “ predicted the outcome but if you think making a big loss on AIM in one share is evidence of being a poor investor you really do need to get t9 know more people.
That is very common practice on AIM and the critical bit is to learn from your mistakes but you need humility.

It really is not that important to me but of course you will think it is all to do with some agenda to get the SP down.
You could not be more wrong as I am very positive here and comfortable with my holding but I really struggle to understand why the “ amount of golden tickets you hold” brigade get so heated about anyone who chooses to invest elsewhere.
I am happy for people to hold a lot of shares here as that is their choice but please don’t think that this is the only choice of where to invest and makes no sense to me whatsoever if you already hold for instance 1m shares here and are convinced it is going to go far higher than £4 for eg. why you would want to go higher and not spread the risk but that is each persons choice.

Have found it and although there are copies of some articles there is no accredited source and does not make sense anyway and false logic to me.
I just wish people would be more tolerant and take the time and trouble to uncover and judge on the “ evidence” rather than accuse people of having a particular agenda.

LL without seeing tweet it is hard to judge but all the published work admittedly involving Spike target Vax and nABS is quite the opposite and are protective against pneumonia in mice.
Would much rather take peer reviewed publications as being more representative of truth than unknown tweeters

As I said this is the first part of the study. Once it has been concluded it needs further REC Approval to begin the main study.This has been the protocol from the start so not sure why you are questioning it as the screening and I think a small dose escalation bit form the first 2 bits then the main study once the first 2 have been concluded if memory serves me right

The trial has been Approved hence they have started recruiting.The trial is in 2 or maybe 3 parts so a pre characterisation to establish the exact amount of virus before beginning the main study.

He is married to a CBN presenter and they have an agreement with Livermore a US Govt Lab for their Covid Vax but is not looking until 2022 for p1

WF do agree it is about works for you.It is not just about putting all your eggs in one basket to achieve mega success but to protect if needs be what you already have.
Firstly contentment is very personal and no one else can presume they know what you are looking for or what you have.
Many of us literally have no interest whatsoever in what anyone else has or does not have as we simply don’t cover the same things.
Good health and family are far more important than material things plus we make choices.Anyone wanting to be a millionaire could easily have just bought a Terrace House in London and simply waited it is not difficult but certainly I did not want to live my life there so choose not to but others would make a different choice.
It is not particularly clever and same with shares.Some of us do it yes to make money but only as it is a reflection of our trading/ investing decisions but win or lose is not going to change our lives and nor would I want it to.
If people find that hard to understand I do pity them as it indicates to be that they are driven purely for material gain and I can almost guarantee that will not make them happy as there are always bigger fish in a bigger pond.
