If I recall correctly when the Combo trial was originally mooted and Keith Flaherty had the infamous croissants with RG that MD Anderson one of the centres involved with likes of Jenifer Vargo.

C7 I took great pains to say normally it is not a good sign when an AIM Company lists an additional broker as it can often mean a placing is due.Anyone with any wider experience of AIM would recognise this.
I stressed this is obviously not the case here as we know they have huge funds and I only see this as positive news as to me it means increased coverage,possible new institutional interest and/ or help with M&A activity.
Please just read my posts for what they are rather than trying to analyse them and trying to find some negative when there us clearly none to be found.

Is interesting as normally the appointment of a new additional broker is not always a good sign but we know that SCLP have a huge amount of cash so wonder if it is to get get specific new coverage as aren’t STFL a fairly recent new actor on the AIM stage.
Could of course be if new institutional investors want in but anyway will be interesting to see rationale behind it

I remember your posts when you went to the gym and spoke very honestly about your position here but all,of us had high hopes then.

Am sure you know Ruck they apply average risk factors hence Moditope is same as Covid Vax as both are pre clinical.Then you use this risk adjusted measure against the future DCF to get a valid measure of value.

The two normal opportunities for small bio being bought by big pharma are pre clinical or after p2/ before p3 starts and these timings have solid reasoning and rationale.

Although there are multiple shots on goal I think we have to be a bit more nuanced about some of the possible outcomes both on the possible upside and downside.
The data will provide the value inflection points there is no doubt but the true value will be determined by how strong or weak that data is and it’s timing and validation.
These are not always completely binary events like an oil drill or even a clinical trial.
Remember the SCIB 1 trial produced compelling results but did it produce a deal or true value.Then no as the size of the cohort was questioned along with some of the trial selection.
Also the market may move in the meantime so even if we get above 55% with the Combo trial then in the meantime another Keytruda Combo produces an even better result in the interim then the bar is raised.
Yes we have multiple great shots at goal so dies vastly lessen the risk,the money is there to develop these assets so that and involvement of Redmile/ Vulpes is great validation.
But we do need to progress things along the trial front to really get value here and that us why imo we need news as the idea that suddenly a rush of RNSs come like London buses or a blockbuster update appears whilst possible I prefer a steady stream of guidance from SCLP as to what is happening on all fronts on a timely basis.

Sometimes big pharma will pay for a variety of reasons and pre clinical assets may suit a particular Company’s strategy.
For eg at Sanofi when a certain expansionist CEO was there they would buy lots of pre clinical assets in strategic areas as they wanted to expand quickly fir their own reasons.
A pharma may have quite a strong p2/3 platform but a weak pipeline earlier than that and want to beef up that area.
It may be that they just think the pre clinical technology is so exciting they need to buy it and in particular if a Company is very active in a particular area and the acquired pre clinical asset is ahead of their own programme or much more promising.
What is clear is that good positive data generates a big premium and if you have faith in the science then better to hold long term and generate data like SCLP has stated.
Of course all the risk is with the smaller bio but the validation by likes of Redmile and the multiple shots at goal put the odds very much in SCLP favour but they need that data and until we get an update on progress then we are simply speculating.

You always strike me as a very polite but principled gentleman reminiscent of a different “ colonial” era.I could of course be completely wrong as I know you are very prepared to fight your corner in your strongly held views and sometimes some see that as stubbornness.
Bit like Yorkshire folk of the “ Bernard Ingham” variety seen as loyalty if they support your argument but bloody mindedness if they are on opposite side.

RF I don’t agree with “ kicking” PR just because he has raised a particular point about CF being over rewarded and yes he has well made the point about him being unhappy.Fair enough.
What I do have an issue with is repeatedly making the same point probably in excess of 30-40 times here and elsewhere when the vast majority are quite happy with CF actions.
I repeat everyone should be able to make counter arguments without rancour but surely you must question anyone who posts so “ obsessively” on a very specific subject on such a regular basis when we can all see their point of view

Morning and a very good presentation last night and great posts by Wally as usual in capturing the detail.
Si_D hard to tell without a full prospectus and CF talked about some other assets being put in addition to HV 001.
They will want to make it a success and must have assessed the level of value and interest.
The people who are most likely to be aware here are the current ORPH SH but even us don’t know the true value of the Immuno Modulator so big question is will they buy via PB or simply rely on their “ spin off shares”.
Many SH have significant holdings so will not need to buy any PB shares if they don’t want any risk however I will certainly look at the Prospectus and I do think CF will want to make this work hence no objection from me re 5%Poolbeg directors allocation.
So as any PB shares will not be locked in I will probably buy a few baring in mind many of these may be traded and just keep the spin off ones for a longer hold.

We can all make our own minds up over who is telling the truth or simply whether posters are who they claim to be but if you step back and just observe the comments from some and evaluate the evidence available it is pretty clear to me at least as to who you believe
