As you say there are a few spin offs but often that is disposal of a non core asset and the easiest part of the franchise to consider separate developments for are either Covidity or the mAB side.
But even those have IP links via Immunobody and Avidmab to the core platform of cancer Vaccines.
So whilst good to speculate we simply don’t know and there are lots of reasons why SCLP may want to set up a separate Company and good to see it includes the whole of the BoD and I only see it as a positive sign but would like to know more about the strategy behind it.
You may be right re disposal of non core assets like many of other spin outs but no matter as we have to have confidence in the BoD making the right decision and SCLP retain total ownership.
If it Is a spin off say then this will realise greater value to SH than keeping it in house and that has to be of benefit to SH but clarification would be helpful.
Surprised CH did not appear on any media yesterday so perhaps there may be more news due which merits an sppearance

Very much agree with your sentiments Monti.
Thanks very much to efforts of Looed and others and of course none of us should do anything to “ harm” the progress of FRR in its fight against anyone trying to steal the assets.
However not only is there immense frustration in the way SH have been ignored and treated for a very long time by all sides involved in this dispute but there will be some who genuinely feel that it is simply an attempt to placate angry SH against any effort to criticise SN et al.
You will of course not stop any attempt by individuals whether SH or not or with malicious intent or not to want to inflict damage on any of the parties involved and others like me simply let the court process play out.
I am happy to continue to have yourself and FSG act as a conduit and in effect act as a SH communication to best effort to keep us all informed and protected but any of us can well understand the history here may make many suspicious

The review period will be different for weekly as opposed to monthly publications plus the critical time frame is date of submission for review and then the date of publication not necessarily the specific time taken to review the article.
But am with Miavoce they won’t hang around for the publication it is the p1 trial that needs to start

Depends on publication and the more prestigious the journal the longer it can take but you are normally talking months. I am only basing my comments on specific articles SCLP in the past that have been RNSd.
They could of course just give a general update and mention this study or CH could just give a presentation/ interview and mention it alongside a general update.
My feeling would be these results would be good enough for SCLP want to push it into the clinic ASAP and they would have known these results for a while so I think the next news is likely to be SN15/17 to start human trials very soon.
My response re the peer review was to try and explain why SCLP may not RNS today’s publication rather than say it is not newsworthy.
I just feel it is the final proof that all is well with Covidity but the real news is the trial starting.
My only hope is that they start the trial and by all means look to test vs the Delta variant on an ongoing basis as a possible booster but not to halt going into the trials until they find the “ perfect Vaccine”.

I don’t think they will test against the other 2 variants such as Delta specifically as you would be forever testing etc.The beauty of today is they have data vs Alpha and Beta so they can establish a correlation between T cells vs ABs and variants and validate their approach for future variants including Delta via extrapolation.

Not really C7 as the assay just needs to be established so you can test the Vax against the variant.
The results could be classed as RNS able if SCLP chose to release them but until the publication is peer reviewed they may hold back

To summarise basic takeaway is that T cells are less impacted by viral variations than AB responses.Most of current Vax target Spike protein and trigger nAB response more than T cell.
SCLP again target multi proteins and probably trigger T cell response more than nAB hence logic is more effective against variants presumably due to targeting the conserved part of N protein

Thanks for response and agree the tenet of the argument was that at cell response was much better than AB especially vs variants.I do believe it was SN15 that performed not so well vs the Beta variation in terms of AB response hence the new construct SN17 which I do believe exhibited a better AB response.
However it was clear from both results that it is the T cell response which as more consistent in dealing with the variants possibly as a result of being less effected by protein secretion.
It is a big endorsement of SCLP approach and when I had contact with CH a few months ago it was the production of the assays and testing against the new variants that was the plan.
This data is validation of his anticipated results of producing both a good cellular and humoral response

Padrock/ET If you think about it makes sense to split the data side as the Wearables want it for a different reason from pharma which you highlighted. They could have packaged it differently within DIM of course but there is some sense in developing it alongside the other stuff in Poolbeg if they see the data models/ bio markers etc as having a big future in improving drug discovery which I know is a key area for pharma.

Earache we have different perspectives of how we saw the Thursday presentation as I thought it was good and was happy with the detail.That is fine.
Let us say relook at our positions in a months time.
So CF said material news so I am thinking a big contract in order of £10m and then he will buy a lot of shares and we will see Poolbeg IPO
We can park the rest of the stuff but if there is a said contract and he does buy substantial amounts and Poolbeg lists as planned then I feel vindicated.
If there is no material news,he does not buy lots of shares etc then I will concede you have probably judged the situation better than me.
So let us just see how the next 3-4 weeks plays out

I think your valuations are reasonable based on available info and as you say could be too high or too low we simply can’t predict.
However what I love about here is the fact there is so little downside as compared to the upside so me and many others are prepared to put a big amount in here.
Some say there are better opportunities elsewhere and they may be right but I would say that is almost certainly to come with increased attendant risk so if you want to risk big money the potential downside is probably more important to me than the potential upside.
Many of the LTH Will already be in good profit but many have bought more and if CF buys a lot more as he has stated I will take that as an excellent vote of confidence
