Crumbs it literally was Thursday night fight night on ADVFN with 2 folk wanting to fight.
I of course was trying to be Barry Hearn suggesting that the M5/M6 corridor may be a more suitable location than Watford Gap or Leeds which were the suggestions of the protagonists who live in Cornwall and Cumbria lol

Let us be absolutely straight here we are very confident in the future agree with Lindy that we have an exciting pipeline and offers limitless potential.
But at this point in time until they get trial data which at the moment apart from SCIB 1 they have no human data whatsoever then comparisons of SCLP to Bion Tech are exactly that comparisons of two entirely different outfits.One is a proven multi billion £ Company that has secured multi million deals with some of the biggest names in pharma.The other SCLP is potentially a $1bn plus Company but as yet has no trial data and no deals.
That can change but at the moment it is pure conjecture.
A Fiat and a Ferrari are both Italian Cars and you may consider that comparable whereas personally I feel until SCLP proves to be a Lamborghini we can get a more comparable example

Ananda if you honestly believe that you are comparing like with like then why do you think Ugr Sahin has not picked up the phone to Lindy like he did with Kathrin Jannsen.
Surely if they are valued the same as you claim then it would be a helluva good value phone call.
The value of the two projects is totally different based largely on the extreme urgency in the Bion Tech case but why let the facts get in the way of a good ramp.
When SCLP comes up with trial data we can all get a more realistic value on the science.That is what SCLP have always stated but why bother with the stated intentions of the Company you are invested in when you can pluck figures out the air

Really decent day and the good news about the SA trial starting has helped sway sentiment from last night where it would still be good to get more clarification on last nights news.
As has been said very bullish quote from LD and absolutely she is best able to comment sagely on the science which we will all know will determine the outcome here.
I do believe SP predictions of multiples of £s whilst possible is meaningless and only serves to heighten expectations on all sides.
I would rather people just rein in some of the wilder predictions until at least we have some actual trial data and try and add a tinge of realism to any perspective valuations as I think some have got a bit excited today and overheated

Good to see SA Trial Approved

Miavoce,I am judging her on her time as joint CEO for several years and her skill set I have observed as compared for what that specific CEO role requires.
If she commits to being a full time CEO so she gives up her Uni responsibilities then I will be happy to admit I may have got her wrong but if she adopts it as a part time role and also continues her CSO duties and is not an interim appointment then I feel it sends out totally the wrong message.

It clearly has not been handled well as no one is clear on the reasoning behind it just people guessing what has happened.
CH is leaving with immediate effect so it is clearly not something that was planned in advance and “ succession planning” for such a key position is a normal waybifvdoingbthings and preparing for the future.
Is Lindy appointment interim or not we simply don’t know.Is she staying part time.Is she moving to Oxford?
Do we seriously believe she is the best long term choice of being CEO when the biggest part of that role is leading SCLP and monetising the science- hardly her forte.
So are you losing a brilliant scientist and gaining a moderate CEO given her previous record.
Has there been a boardroom so at given the sudden departure.
Until we get clarification on what has happened we are all just guessing so I don’t think it has been well handled but guess we will await the market reaction tomorrow and see what the wider world makes of it

Plus Crumbs Cancer Vax are due to be discussed on Day 1 so sure she is on then

Good informed discussions this morning and interesting to get any update from OXT which contains any new info but I suspect it will be a routine communication.
Redmile and Vulpes have validated the science due to their large investment and very much believe in the upside from their very low average.
As has been said these control the future here and will decide what happens and when and sure we will all do well here but Redmile is a hedge fund who will want all bases covered.
Very interested who is selling as the perfect storm of waiting for news,low volume and a seller usually means one thing though doing it in a market orderly manner is the stated aim.

As Bermuda has said it was closed down and of course you have to careful as fine to these these predictive platforms to almost triage drug candidates but it is an entirely different matter to use this data in trials to try and “pre select” trial patients as obviously regulators will look very closely at this.
I don’t know if this was one of issues to do with SCIB 1 cohorts attracting some suspicion on “ compelling results”which has been expressed by some in the past or purely down to numbers.
I highlighted this case as it may help determine if HC trials were more likely to generate T cell response data in particular candidates of which we know are ver6 applicable to SCLP.
CH has already indicated that HC trials could be part of regulatory process and the U.K. Govt is very supportive oft his approach.
The CHIM model has just had REC Approval for further escalation of next 20 patients so results so far have been good and the pathway for the U.K. Govt slots is a little clearer

But wonder if they use this Poolbeg platform not to identify but to validate the SCLP assets prior to putting into one of the 3 U.K. Govt HC slots for a phase 2 trial as T Cell responses will be a very important part of the immune response
