I have no idea whether it is him selling or not as I have 2 people who have expressed totally divergent views.That is why I would not be foolish enough to try and be absolute about this which you appear to be unless you have proof and just appear to be pure speculation.
I simply point out that others totally unconnected with myself are making an entirely different pronouncement hence casting doubt about your interpretation.
That is the only point I am making please don’t state stuff as facts when you can’t provide any proof

GF you really seem to be obsessing about DE selling without any proof whatsoever.
There appears to be a seller(s) and buyers but none of us know who they are apart from the parties involved.

As I can’t absolutely say with certainty and TBF I coukd not give a stuff as I make my own decisions and only pay heed to anyone who is closely connected with SCLP at at present so likes of Vulpes as tonegatvtheyvare doing.
You do come across as quite desperate to pin these “ sells” onto DE so have you approached him direct as I have always found him very transparent in his dealings.
It maybe him it may not be as yes he has indicated he did disagree over corporate governance but there us some suggestion that he has changed his position since LD was made CEO.
None of us know for certain and fine to make your point but obsessing about it is imo not the typical behaviour of someone who does not have an agenda or alternatively a multi millionsire

Ruck I agree that none of us knows for certain who is buying and who is selling but is there a 3 rd option.
Could the buyer and the seller be the same person or entity and for whatever reason wants to keep it within a trading range or simply making a crust whilst they wait for news.
We had this in another share I was in and they were doing it as a hedge but also making a very nice little range and rinsing and repeating and everyone else simply kept on guessing.
Hoping for news and to break out of this trading range in line with all our wishes.

Most of the so called “ Doomies” are already very positive about the future here but acknowledge some of the potential interruptions on the upward journey and just like to get a bit of perspective.
Like having an open mind and judging each post on its own merits from wherever it comes rather than prejudicing contributions in advance by imaginary conspiracies.
I do find it amusingly quaint that others constantly look for things that are simply not there but they should Aim for Big targets if they really want the hit the bullseye

We all hope that SCLP progress the excellent science here in a timely manner to produce the necessary data to monetise the platforms and find out what the plans are for Zakari.
I am waiting for the results to try and gain a better insight into progress here but in the meantime it is good to get the thoughts of big AIM investors who are worth listening to

WTP thanks for posting as any “ professional” investing source advising to buy SCLP has to help despite all such outfits having their supporters and critics.
Agree Ray totally that they are right about the high costs of R&D and SCLP is planning a big trial programme but the cash situation is more than adequate to cover this for at least 15-18 months so absolutely no need to raise at all and there is of course a very high chance of getting some additional funding from a grant or deal in a number of areas so cash is not a concern whatsoever.
We will find out how much they have with the results but the fact they have expanded the Combo trial numbers is evidence of plenty of resources

Just been looking at history of dates of next results as they give good indication of date of AGM.It usually occurs about 3-4 weeks after results.
In 2019 results were announced exactly 2 years ago today whereas last year they were released in October.
This next AGM should be an interesting one and sure plenty will want to attend given the exciting future here and the size of many folks holdings here

Agree Moonparty about importance of having a diverse range of views and my response was to a individual request and I acknowledge that it is very narrow but in depth in an area of specific relevance.
I also acknowledge it is important to know your limitations in other areas which is why I bow to greater knowledge of how the market works to others as you say their expertise and experience comes into play.
Of course there are always those that profess to be an expert on everything and those are the ones I choose to lay little attention to.

Normally it is the order of 10-15 years that you highlight from discovery to launch and does not take that much longer taking a radical approach than a more traditional one.That is a timeframe and approach used by most big pharma but the model has changed in recent years towards shortening the process by acquiring promising technologies rather than developing their own hence the small bio pharmas being left to progress the discovery, pre clinical and early clinical development of Vaccines.
The urgent threat of Covid changed everything and this timeframe was compressed by a series of financial and regulatory changes and support plus they started off with using already known approaches abd technology hence initially going to likes of Oxford which used a ChAd but an already known vector virus method.
The mRNA approach was not new in other areas like oncology but was in infectious diseases abd that has proved very successful at progressing the whole platform.
Similarly with SCLP the platform was already “ proven” so has a head start and saving probably 3-5 years but it had to cope with formulating and testing the various Vaccines and of course developing a delivery system etc.
I know SCLP had plenty of backing but it did not have the mega support of the early efforts of the other currently Approved Vax either by Govt or a big commercial partner.
In terms of time frame for SCLP and assuming everything goes well I am anticipating that the product will be available for launch in time for Autumn 2022 boosters at the earliest but that is dependent on getting FPI in SA by next month and good results and a commercial partner plus human challenge phase 2 and an accelerated p3 agreed with MHRA.
The whole Covid environment and situation wrt new variants will affect this timeline but as AB has said the most important thing is to get some trial data and I am not so worried about timeline as I am confident that if data is good then their will be plenty if benefits in the SCLP approach but there are competitors out there so we do need to progress things at maximum speed.
Again I feel AB has raised some interesting points re the CLNs in terms of timeline for nit just Covidity but all the platforms in terms of needing to get data but we do have multiple shots on goal

I do have considerable experience of launching and selling of new Vaccines but not in humans which some will say is not relevant.
I don’t agree with that as the technology is often identical, in many ways is way ahead of the human efforts,

the technical and commercial training is exactly the same due to the cross functional nature of these business’s.
However some dismiss that experience which of course us their prerogative.
