Grant of options22 May 2019 14:24
So directors are only allowed to buy and sell shares at certain times to prevent marlet abuse.. i.e. cant sell shares and the next day release a bad RNS and also cant buy a ton load and the next day release a great RNS.
That said they can grant an option to buy shares regardless of bad or good news during a set period of time set upon beforehand.
So in 2015 they said they could buy × amount of shares based on the the average price from october 2018 to 30th sept 2021
So they have decided to buy them.... bear in mind they are happy to pay more than the market value is today,
Basically another show of confidence in the company, yes it dilutes 1.2% of the market cap, but that also includes themselves being diluted from the private placing recently.
But bottom line, the fact they are buying more shares is a good thing, plus its more funds for the company.
