Took a few at 1.7 yesterday aswell, total ~800k shares so Just over 1%, I know it’s a risk but I’m happy to scoop up the dregs and make the trade that no one else wants aslong as it’s close to the bottom price, with the hope of selling in to a rise at around double or building up a few free carry holdings.

My guess is the rise is because of -oil price recovery. - no news on banking facilities that were being renewed in Jan so assuming it’s all ok or being processed, (maybe a bit of a nudge nudge wink wink with employees at the bank.) as current bod would have been RNSed otherwise, they will use any reason for a negative rns. - no news means business as usual.

Its now over a year later since the BOD royally screwed everyone and allowed YA to convert at pittance when they didnt need to, instead of paying off their CLN with cash or funding from a higher priced alternative, they took the peanuts and then shortly after screwed everyone again. i like many others took the hit at the time when shares were unnecessarily gifted to YA that was grouped with forward selling, naked shorts, inside trading.

What have the board achieved this year other then a drop of 90% in share price and a much higher share issue then needed.

There are very few shares i avoid like the plague and will voice a negative opinion on but the BODs actions here is directly linked to why the SP is this low. do not be under any illusion that they are thinking of shareholders interests.

If this miracle RNS comes im still not buying back in, but i hope it does eventually or something else comes to help longer term shareholders recover funds.

Rejection of plans for expansion of or new factories in the past has prevented new jobs from being created here in the UK and it has made some not viable.

Malmsbury was the location he wanted, And rightly so it is his home.

he has invested millions over the years in the universities, schools, colleges, educating and employing people.

He built and developed factories that needed extra capacity but the plans were rejected, and made them not viable,.
He has had plans to build cars here and alsorts of other projects over the years but the council shot him down on too much.
Once you realise that no matter how much your company directly transforms the county and you hit a brick wall and loose more money when you want to expand why would you continue.

If the government really wanted inward investment they would change the planning laws to prioritise job creation.

You do know a lot of the reasons why Dyson is having to expand some parts of the business outside of the UK is because he has had plans for numerous huge investments in malmsbury, but the council has rejected a lot of these plans because they are short sighted and don’t look at the jobs it creates, they instead worry about the prescious countryside views more than new jobs and ignore how much money has companies have and continue to put in to the local and national economy. He is still investing in the UK, just not as much as he could have. Oh And he is still the largest land owner by acres in the UK, owns more land than the Queen.

Also I’ve been looking through some of the other companies that have / had northland as their nomad and are in the same boat as ANR, it’s not any of the companies that are the clients of northlands fault that they are merging with another broker. It’s Shocking how much that a lot of these companies have lost a lot in mcap because of a broker merger. Hopefully they all get new nomads, it could also give an opportunity for a trade.

Sutherland retires on Tuesday, so we have atleast two rns next week.

never mind i was getting mixed up the CLN was from the 2015 rns, this is straight forward secured loans.

Hello all, this caught my attention yesterday night because of extract about the nomad in the RNS, am just looking in to it a bit more and wondered if anyone knew what the CLN conversion price would be, have skimmed over a few 2015 rns and have not found what im after. Thanks and good luck

I Had a few auto sells triggered today from my 13p and 14p buys last week, so I am now sat on just under 3% of the company. That is now profit and happy to let them carry, that’s probably what temporarily killed the rise.
The £10k delayed trade at 25p was one of them.
The RNS results was what we wanted, the stage is now set for the Chinese. Good luck all next week, my fingers are still crossed but not as tight as they were yesterday.

It’s all swings and round abouts, I was fortunate to have some luck over Xmas with other shares and am surprisingly higher overall. If it completed executing my buys here at 18p last month that would have been a different story :)

Nt to buy anything reasonable, 22p for 100 shares, 17.1p to sell.
