people have a right to express an opinion etc if people don't like it there is a filter function. I use it alot.

ASOG represent Pi view. Yet most Pi view on here is anti Alan Linn. In fact most on here put him in the same category as the "evil" bondholders. lol

I filtered all anti Alan Linn posters. but i still see them when i open the thread. lol

Hi Torquewrench, I am not too familiar with IG. I have heard of it and briefly been on the website in the past. So I know they specialise in direct market access, spread betting and short selling etc Not sure if its relevant to us really. I am not concerned with it.

Hi Ynotdeal, I can see your trying very hard to defend Alan Linn here. This is why I filtered 9 posters. Because I got fed up of it. Its also the reason why I have miraculously cut back on my posts. I was Pro Alan Linn and i got condemned for it! LOL I realise you can't filter them cos your ASOG committee. Luckily for me I can filter them so i don't get dragged into the arguments which leaves me to have intelligent discussions with everyone else who isn't Anti Alan Linn and cut back on posts at the same time.

yep can't imagine bondholders pumping more money in if ebok has gone belly up.

could it be the bondholders are reluctant to pump more more money in because they foresee long term production issues.

Peteb Not sure. But I often find myself agreeing with your posts. I would like to think he will try and get us a better deal. Does seem strange that the EGM didn't go through. prehaps something going on in the background and more than what meets the eye. Or its nothing and its just this extra $30m. but why put off the HY notes which would have gone through early August for sake of a $30m shortfall. surely refinancing was crucial even if it was $30m short. Better to be $30m short than not having any refinancing at all. No insolvency has been declared thus far. I don't want to speculate. You can only really go off what they tell us in the RNSs.

Hi torquewrench, I think I agree with ynodeal that Alan Linn flexed his muscle by suspending the shares which resulted in the bonds being suspended also. caught the bondholders by surprise with this as well i think. Face value is $30m shortfall as far we can see. Is there something going on in the background i don't know. Suspension might be because the company isn't going a concern. the sunday times article mentions some problem with Ebok. which would support what the RNS says about lower production etc and result in cashflow problems. But no insolvency has been declared. seems strange to call the EGM off when the HY notes would have materialised on 5th or 7th August I think. so seems strange to call it off when we were so close to getting the HY notes even with a No vote they still would have given us the HY notes. so does seem strange. they could have got a short term loan for $30m. Not sure that was a big enough excuse to indefinitely adjourn the EGM.

i like debating. especially in a stock I am heavily in.

I think the joke back in February was 14:30 RNS. and you would get a spike. people kept saying it 14:30 RNS and then eventually people started saying it in jest.

The EGM has been been cancelled completely by looks of it. good news is no dilution so far. bad news still in suspension and insolvency is looming without refinancing.

ynotdeal i guess we have to respectfully agree to disagree then. Personally i don't care about these questions. I don't care about bondholder survival of admin. I just want the best outcome for my holding.
