I never said anything about ASOG. but bondholders might have given us financing. the problem was near term production and liquidity issues. If they knew which way the vote was going that might be the reason they refused to give the additional $30m for the shortfall.

scaremongering tactics? how long are we going to cling on to that one. Maybe they saw the No vote. and now bondholders read all the anti bondholder comments on here. and now they refused to finance the company. I voted yes so my conscious is clear.

Could have done a rights issue ages ago. too late for that now i think.

I did propose to Afren to do a rights issue a few weeks back. But they don't seem interested in being financed by shareholders. The seem infatuated with bondholder money.

I wanted to avoid admin which is why I voted yes. But I am not surprised admin has occurred now. oh well a very good lesson learnt here.

Hi Peteb & Ynotdeal Yeah I think took your posts out of context. I started filtering a lot of posters. and BH007 was one of them. So i didn't see the 16:13 post which triggered your posts on defamation and slander etc so i can see where you were both coming from now. and yep I agree with your posts.

I have been on the receiving end of abuse just for voting yes lol how many on here accused me of paid by bondholders etc

political correctness gone mad lol but in all seriousness point taken. but if your opinion is that the BoD did a poor job or the company was poorly run that's not slander or defamation. But point taken it got abusive on here.

ynotdeal, I think with bulletin boards its meant to be an informal thing with anonymous posts. taken with pinch of salt etc. by sounds of it people take it too seriously. GG, I wanted it to be Isengard but I couldn't have that username so it became Isengard7. I expect people to call me Isengard anyway. two side of the coin. You have the humour/gutter side and then the more sensible posts. I think people get you wrong on here because of the gutter side. But I can see why you post the way you do because there is a lot of stupid posts on here. I just use the filter option now.

I am trying to stay as neutral as possible if I can. The only strong view I have is that I am Pro-Alan Linn. I want to give him a chance to put the company right.

GG, Yeah i know lol. I don't mind ASOG committee. The only thing was what i switched to yes vote. but the yes/no debate is inconsequential now the EGM was cancelled. But I am pro-Alan Linn which is something I agree with ASOG committee. I just filter the ALAG ones and anti Alan Linn ones out. Whereas with yourself I do see some merit underneath the jokes and humour.

Ynotdeal, fair enough. Yep I am pro-Alan Linn. I think your right its only a minority of anti linn Pi out there. they just seem to rack up a lot noise on here.

Hi GG, no your not filtered. But i got a list of 13 posters now though lol. Helps me to cut back back on posts as I don't get wound up as much. When i said people had a right to express an opinion it was relation to "Ever since I have been involved on here, from before march, there has been a stream of unfounded allegation, defamation, abuse, villification and personal threats of violence directed at the BOD past and present." There were a lot of anti BoD posts. Even I probably blew off some steam. but if Ynotdeal is correct just goes to show how soft the BoD were. if you don't like the post because they are threatening you can filter them. Look on Twitter how much abuse people get. this is the age we live in. where everyone can be called out or criticised. everyone has a right to an opinion and more importantly a filter option LOL
