thanks for sharing. very good quality stock especially for AIM. I have built up a good position in this. I believe this could be a good growth stock in line with Slater's Zulu principles. good size company for growth as well.

Hi TW, no divvy. but I don't discriminate on that for every company. Berkshire Hathaway don't pay divvy either. normally on ex dividend date share price falls by the same amount. JD pays divvy but its less than 1%.

the other retailers such as JD proportionally have more debt in relation to their net assets. SPD has one of the best PE ratios and has plenty of balance sheet strength for acquisitions.

EPS is 40.6. Lower PE ratio than JD. Looks fantastic to me lol

PE ratio is ridiculously low. I don't care if earnings don't grow and we have a slight contraction. This is definitely a bargain right now. Once the referendum is over with and they release the annual results should be ready to go back up properly to tat least £6. eventually even up to £8 like before. Balance sheet strength is there for more acquisitions.

Pound strengthened on brexit fears being eased. FTSE 100 and the market generally up today. SPD riding the wave here. looks set for recovery. Target of £6 a share by year end.

MA will buy some of their stores at a bargain from the BHS's administrators. He's highly entrepreneurial and has an eye for a good deal.

dividends hurts the share price. on ex dividend date the share price falls by the amount of dividends paid. no too bothered about dividends. very low PE ratio makes it attractive. and BHS is already considered the lower end of the department stores anyway.

most blue chips tend to be overvalued. more opportunities in the small caps.

personally I just drip feed slowly into my investments over a very long period of time. So I don't normally take political factors into consideration but I can understand that it would be important for short term traders to pull out and keep their powder dry at this point.

No. But Sports Direct need to learn how to play the game. Amazon, DHL etc, use anti-trade union consultancies companies. That's how they neutralise them lol. Sports Direct has become so big they need to do likewise now.
