Hi O/F I haven't heard JC say anything, as I wasn't at the AGM. It would seem to me that someone has confused the cash at bank figure as at 31/12/17 with the AGM - probably unintentional. There are loads of numbers that they need to be on top of (appear to be at least) and just maybe got this one wrong. I'll drop it now. Cheers ITT

If I was a betting man (which I am), I would say that it's something like the Itron thing going on but you can forget about £1's or 50p's and that CC is being sold for nothing like that. JC, SS et al will make a 'loss' on their shares but, as they never really paid for them out of their own pockets, it won't hurt and JC will pick up additional hours for overseeing the sale anyway.

Perhaps CC are being swallowed up by Itron (Silver Spring owners) and they want to stream in Philip Mezey live to the AGM from Washington (5 hours behind us). 2.30pm our time being 9.30am theirs. Or someone else with a similar time difference. Just a thought.

Why such a late kick off (2.30pm instead of the usual 11.00am)? Is it to allow enough time for the Ukrainians, Iranians and Bangladeshis to make the meeting or is it to stop a rush for the door when existing non-attending shareholders get to hear the outcome i.e. market will be closed? Or something else?

I'm holding fire for now. Is this a little window of opportunity being created to let one or two get out?

The SP with have to go some to get SS his (Cyan's) £550K back. His shares are currently worth £90K'ish. Does that mean his options disappear too?

Hi Vas I don't really understand all the fuss about SS leaving. With him and David Bland on board, the finance department did appear a bit overstocked. Didn't they advertise recently for an accounts assistant (I think the last one left on maternity leave and never returned). Perhaps SS as been carrying out that role for Mr Bland until a replacement was found. Do you see it another way? IMO, the Placing needs to be flushed out before anything will budge. ITT

Hi Vas That's right (that's where I got it from) but the report wasn't signed off until 18/05/18. If the tax credit had been received by that date, JC would have been able to say so under the 'Post Period End' section. I doubt that there's anything wrong with the claim and that the £1.4M will be received soon'ish. ITT
