Private investors won't make any real money from investing in this company.

At the end of this latest process, what percentage of the company will be owned by JC, Johns-Powell and other Albert E Sharp (Arden Partners) clients.

Remember, JC and Albert E Sharp are Warwickshire neighbours who sponsor the same little rugby club (Claverdon RFC - population of Claverdon is 1,200). What a coincidence that is.

This company will be privately owned as soon as this little consortium want it to be. IMO, no multibagging to be had here. Little £50 quick in and outs might though.

What about the 'leaky' 40% drop to allow JST in at the 'bargain' price of 0.18p (old money) or 36p (new money).

What was the outcome of the JC investigation into that 'leak'?

I still find it hard to imagine that this lot (with their track record of being specialists in failure) can pull off another placing - at any price. In fact, I don't believe that they can.

The recent rise in SP was probably just an opportunity/window created to let a few out with less of a loss.

I think that the news, when it comes, will be dire for shareholders.

His shares in Cyan are now worth about £8K, unless he's dumped them already.

It doesn't say 'to raise anything', it says 'the required level'. I don't know if they can raise the required level, do you?

Also, there's no legal requirement to put the statement in unless the risk is there and, in this case, the risk is there.

Unless they can't raise enough funds of course.

From the latest Annual Report:-

"There remains, however, a significant risk that the required level of new funding will not be received in the necessary timescales or at all."

it goes on to say:-

".....on the basis of sensitivities applied to the cash flow forecast and the expectation that further finance can be raised in the relevant timescale, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the Company and Group can continue to meet its liabilities as they fall due, for a period of at least 12 months from the date of approval of this report." (report was approved on 18/05/18).

When the Placing and consolidation took place last year, the powers that be thought that a £34m valuation was OK (120m shares @ 28p).

You would think (hope) that Cyan is in better shape now than it was 12 months ago. Say £35m valuation with 130m shares = 27p per share.

In the past, I've found that SPs can increase fourfold before anyone cares to look back. (6.7p x 4 = 27p). Fits nicely.
