I see that the prize cheque is made out to Vittecoq, not Cyan.

JC & Co have done a great job of murdering this company and any interest shown in it. You might think that it was deliberate.

They have four 'Successful (smart metering) Stories' to tell us about, all more than two years old. In fact, all 'stories' were posted on the same day, which seems a bit suspicious to me.

Things don't seem to be improving.

The only people to make any money out of this episode are the specialist lawyers (British & USA), who were employed by the company and their former brokers.

How much money do you think has been was wasted on this debacle so far? Shareholders will never get to find out.

You could see the Iran deal as another really bad judgement call. The reason that they were 'first in' might have been because everyone else knew not to touch it with a barge-pole.

It's very easy to take big risks with other people's money.

It's all a facade. They've got to be seen to be doing the right thing for shareholders. Once that bit is done, then they can shaft them.

If we ignore what the market thinks Cyan is worth, how much does JC think it's worth now, bearing in mind he said it was a £200m company six to seven years ago and he has spent millions and millions 'improving' it since that statement was made?

I received a recommendation at the end of June 2019, which I did not act on (thankfully). Share price then was just over 7p (price now 2.1p).

No problem at all. I knew the guesstimated figures were out there, I was just being a bit lazy.

The £7m guess means nothing. The Iran 'deal' was £10m and not a penny was received and now it is written off.

Shareholders will have to wait until May 2020 now to see what revenue Deloitte will allow for 2019, as the BoD don't seem to have a clue what is and what isn't.
