Regardless of contracts signed, cash in the bank etc etc, if Cardiff's answer to Sir Terry Matthews came out and confirmed to the market that he (supported by JC and other Arden investors) have no intention of taking Cyan private, the SP would recover substantially (IMO).

That won't happen though.

It's obvious to me why the market has been led to believe that 2019 revenue is going to be £7m and that contracts were expected to be signed by the end of October. Neither statement needed to be so specific. Both were deliberately designed to cause the maximum damage to the SP, when neither event happened.

They want to have a private company and are doing whatever is necessary to pay as little as they have to for it. There is nothing that you can do to stop them - it's been years in the making.

The SP is now 97% lower than when he took over and he has blown a big hole in £35m - £40m. At which point will he say enough is enough, as nobody seems to have the power to remove him.

I still can't work out whether the BoD are really as ****e at running a company as everything seems to suggest or is the company being deliberately run into the ground, so that it can be acquired for next to nothing.

I received the same email out of the blue - found it a bit creepy if I'm being honest.

Their 'sticky' recurring revenue business model is effed. Nobody wants wants what they're offering short-term, medium- term or long-term. There's really no reason for Cyan to exist.

It's finished (IMO). There's no problem for their kit to solve. The 'New Omni' is obsolete already.

I've always described Cyan's offering to that of Amstrad's Emailer, where Lord Sugar believed he was going to get people to pay 12p for every email.

It's only costing the likes of Vodaphone £100m to solve the not-spots. Cyan has blown/wasted £60m.

I wonder, will the gamblers come out in force this afternoon in an attempt to get in before the transformational news is released at 7:00am on Monday?

By the time the market opens at 8:00am, the SP's ask might have doubled (at least).

It must be great running a technology company (and getting handsomely paid for it) that delivers a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, with the company surviving on tax credits.

A nice easy way to eke it out to retirement.
