The MF is highly pivotal as some have mentioned.
It is amongst other reasons to evidence, for the future, that we gave Bahamians a way into this project if they so wished. ( N.B. The “institutional investor” route is really to comply with local restrictions on local Bahamians for their protection. There is nothing to stop a private Bahamian investor going to a local institution and partaking indirectly by investing with that institution.)
Jim covered most of my other thoughts very well earlier so won’t reiterate.
I would add that IMHO a Major is primed and ready to sign pre drill.
(SP comment circa OO implementation - “major in data room now.”)
Again they need to wait for MF to be implemented for price stability.
Other contracts are just going through the process, although again, my belief is that Major is now very much involved which changes original arrangements.
EIA by definition has to be finalised close to drill for comparatives of environment status.
I have no idea why folks don’t think this is funded. The OO cash is in the bank; The CLN are mates with BOD and have enough skin in the game to want this to succeed even if they don’t fund part of it due to Major intervention; The exchange rate movement has enhanced cash in hand significantly and finally if there had been a significant breakdown somewhere, it would have to be RNSd
Our good Eytan is holidaying in an incommunicado destination and very relaxed according to anecdotal information and if he’s chilling , then so am I.
