One final thought for The W/E:

I’ve just watched The Proactive videoconf with Eytan again for the 3rd time because as per many negotiations I’ve done over many years I like to analyse my negotiators in the flesh so to speak

Body action tells you a lot.

I saw him as being more sanguine, relaxed and confident than any time in the last year.

He looks like all is good and ready to go with potential for more good news in the pipeline.

Importantly, IMHO he looks healthy compared to a somewhat tired appearance in other recent interviews.

He was even jocular!

Just wanted to share that with you as – wait for it – “The Ducks appear to be in a row.”

Short of a Duck CV 20 pandemic I am very hopeful that we are all systems GO!

DC and I don’t mean The idiots in Washington has an autistic child who requires specific familiar care. His parental farm is in the middle of nowhere and hence social distancing is virtually irrelevant He travelled with. a family he thought was contaminated,, in a car to take them to somewhere safe.

If you drill down into the RNS and other DD - they have the required funding.
However are looking @ cheaper alternatives. One of which they have just achieved with The Stena partnership.

IMHO There will be more to follow including IMHO -BG involvement, Bizzell CLN cheaper and more Family Office involvement.

Not to mention a consortium of Farminees.

You obviously know your stuff, as do I, having fought against Basel 2 and the prospective Basel 3 @ the time.

It was a recipe for disaster as was proved.

The likes of Gordon Brown who sold half of our gold @ $284 (great deal that vis a vis SOLG) perpetrated this and in his 2007Mansion House speech (just months before the disaster) acclaimed to the “Bankers” that they were the best thing since sliced bread!

Hi Fols sorry for “blogging” but I’m convinced “TheAuthorities” are buying The Indices to create confidence or win an election in November - which is great in the short term, and I know opportunities can be missed - BUT they are buying it with our future tax liabilities cos they ain’t got any money!

The problem with your point is that “The Authorities” employ underpaid folks to oversee over paid folks and therein lies the dilemma.

No disrespect intended to anyone but I’ve worked with both sides of that equation and the difference is quite alarming.

Refer to 2008 financial disaster – “The Authorities” didn’t have a clue what was happening, what had occurred and how to deal with it.
Which is why The Western World is effectively bankrupt- and that’s before CV19.

Well Woody I don’t disagree that long term Lloyds is a good bet and I have them in my portfolio.

The point is from my point of view that whilst Lloyds will undoubtedly get to 40p in the long term - SOLG may get to 4 quid in the medium term - bidding war.

That’s why I have 3 portfolios - one for short term jobbing, one for medium term e.g. SOLG and my pension pot that is full of dividend payers.

We have the funding, (with cheaper and more to follow IMHO, ) we have The Rig, we have PPE, we have testing to isolate on the rig and check/trace on supply of equipment, we have a BOD who have played a blinder under extremis, we have a bunch of short term traders who give us the opportunity to buy more cheaply, we have a BG who can not afford to not let this happen and say so increasingly, we have Petroleuminvest with his feet on the ground or at sea or on a crane and is clearly an oil pro saying all systems GO, we have Amarone, we have beef and horseradish (I’ve been stockpiling during the pandemic!) and we have us!

What more do you want?

AND WE HAVE Langans to look forward To! We will all have to sit 2 :meters apart and shout as we are all oldies and probably deaf!

The only thing possibly lacking is the storage facilities for the billions of BOO that we are going to recover!

Can you imagine what Christmas is going to feel like as we wait in anticipation from The 15th of Dec?

I’m thinking of booking The Ocean Club on Paradise _ Island (P_I that’s especially for you) for The New Year now whilst it’s cheap flights and accommodation!

You keep referring to funding not being there.

Yes we have $12mill in the bank, however we have at least $35 mill (inc bank a/c) committed and contracted to drawdown on.

Yes some of it is potentially expensive but it is there.

The BOD emphasized that they are looking at cheaper alternatives to these options in the RNS.
I am sure they will get them probably via consortium deals similar to Stena.

Don’t forget that the whole point of this is striking a large oil find.

If we fail it will only be because there isn’t any oil.

The funding/dilution will be irrelevant if the prospective oil is there.
