How long to next dilution?21 Feb 2023 08:40
Do deal with funder at a discounted rate, announce news of some kind that make the share price go up, funder sells into rise his to be issued shares, basically shorting then when they issue funding news, price falls, then funder buys back cheaper what he sold making money twice. Isn't this how AIM works? We know it is illegal but doesn't it look like that is how it is done.
Who funds a company knowingly with info no one else has that the share price will fall then buy in? Surely they sell yet to be issued shares?
Of course I am not saying that UKOG does this. It is an upright company. But these things do seem to take place in AIM. Just coincidentally I am sure there will be more funding needs soon on this. Just hope the competent person who did this report was not the same one that made a report that the Gatwick play had billions of barrels of oil when it was only in the most part water.
