Little doubt , Chuditch is now leading the way in their desire to get their plans moving and secure some new revenues, again long before Sunrise , last tenders by 2032-34

Said for a long time it made more sense for them to advance Chuditch, they have had 2 plans for a long time, Sunrise/Beaco that has now become ALL Natarbora, the 2nd the Domestic security plan and conversion of 3 on Island power stations to GAS, those plans remain, the original was seen as that task completed around 4-5 years before Sunrise if ever saw the light of day.

PM Rauk , ASAP , once Gas becomes available but target by late 2025/26, at the time the tenders for Sunrise 2030 (now 2032-34) SO , as gas has always been available (oz others) have always taken that to mean THEIR OWN GAS. As Sunrise was never in that timeline, again always looked at that as , it must be Chuditch FIRST, new plans to take it via Bayu to Natarbora , only confirm it will be the case.

Well will not be dry Super Major Shell drilled CH-1 on the edge of the reservoir and declared a large gas discovery, giving ALL follow on wells a 100% COS, SNDA location for CH-2 in reservoir thickness of 150 v 25 at CH-1.

This is appraisal to PRODUCTION drilling, not a wildcat.........GLA

Shell had Chuditch , Wombat and Bilby (renamed Chud N and Chud SW) as over 5 tcf , possibly double if they can prove all are connected, additional leads across the rest of the license , Boil/SNDA only played with part of the license, one of those additional leads of shell's was Bandicoot, the edge of which was done on the limited area seismic rerun and renamed Quokka.

Shell thought all of the additional leads (outside the area done by snda) where probably either oil or more likely very large condensate fields with more gas over , as in a similar configuration to Greater Sunrise , Sunrise Gas with Troubadour 220mb condensate offset in a similar way.

Only ever going to grow in GIIP + figures on further development, by whoever does it, SNDA still in the game or not (Godfather offer)

With the Canadian Government talking a very good game this past year , investing BILLIONS , in assets and Infrastructure, to make Canada a WORLDWIDE hub for Critical Minerals and the press this week, talking another $30 Billion........could be Fox in the box, right place , right time........🤔

The Government, through the Ministry of Finance, held today, June 13, 2025, the 2026 Budget Days, which mark the formal start of the process of preparing the General State Budget (OGE) for the next year. The event held in the Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão auditorium, at the Ministry of Finance, brought together members of the Government, representatives of the National Parliament, municipal authorities and autonomous agencies.

Under the motto “Optimizing Results with Realistic Expenditures”, this year’s Budget Days began with welcoming remarks from the Minister of Finance, Santina José Rodrigues F. Viegas Cardoso, followed by the opening speech given by the Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão.

Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão also stressed that “the State Budget is not, therefore, just a financial instrument — it is also a moral instrument”, appealing to the commitment of all stakeholders and declared “Ladies and Gentlemen, we cannot disappoint our People!”.

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Francisco da Costa Monteiro, met on 10 June 2025 with representatives of Santos Ltd., namely Vince Santostefano, Executive Vice President for Western Australia, Northern Australia and Timor-Leste; Alan Stuart-Grant, Executive Vice President for Midstream Processing and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS); Richard Hinkley, Vice President for Northern Australia and Timor-Leste Energy Solutions; and José Lobato, Country Director, to discuss the future of the Bayu-Undan field and emerging opportunities in the CCS field.

The parties discussed the possibility of combining the remaining natural gas extraction with the conversion of the field for carbon capture and storage purposes, assessing potential synergies with other fields, such as Chuditch. The Minister stressed that any future development should consider parallel production and storage trajectories, provided that technical feasibility and compliance with the current regulatory framework are ensured.

During the meeting, progress was discussed in ongoing studies on the feasibility of implementing carbon capture and storage solutions in the Bayu-Undan field. Minister Francisco Monteiro welcomed the information presented and reiterated the Government's openness to innovative solutions that allow the extension of the use of existing infrastructures, in line with global energy transition objectives.

The meeting also included a broader discussion of the partnership between Timor-Leste and Santos Ltd, with a focus on developing local skills, remote operations and strengthening Timor-Leste’s role in managing its offshore resources. Minister Francisco Monteiro reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to solutions that promote greater national participation and long-term sustainable benefits for the Timorese people.

Chevron and others have already started picking up assets in the Walvis basin (plan drill next year) the orange basin maxed out, multiple drills have already been made in the walvis , all had oil/gas shows, so know a working petroleum kitchen somewhere in there.
