RE: Tasi- Mane19 Aug 2025 14:15
Nothing has changed, without an actual processing centre (oil , gas, petro-chemicals) it remains as it's been for 25 years, 25-30 TCF known, with probably as much to find in the under/never explored around 14 offshore licenses. All still waiting for a home to go to, without one , all remain stranded. Unless the duo relent and permit other processing methods (Darwin/fpso/flng) long denied. As his statement when previously PM , which he had put into Decree Law, it ALL comes to the Island, we do not need outsiders, we can do it ourselves.........An Island that 20+ years on , has still BUILT zero processing facilities, having spent Billions on abandoned projects at Beaco , Metinaro and Betano. Now all roads lead to all in one site Natarbora , if/when someone hits them with the funding required, to bring production ashore.
Come on, Qatar, China, Japan INPEX, SHELL, etc, take a hint and build and run the complex SOON......Sunrise last tenders already sliding out to 2032-2034 and still no firm agreements with OZ/Woodside.
Likewise AB's hope of 2028 production, probably also sliding.......GLA
